I've been taking for 3 years since I'm allergic to the hypromellose in pills. The new bottle top design is difficult and sometimes downright impossible to open. But the medication does work very well. Please work on the cap. I've been working on this one bottle for 20 minutes without success.

We have always struggled to find a product that didn't contain certain ingredients and most importantly, were also effective. This Children's XYZAL fits the bill! It relieved her symptoms and lasted the 24 hours that it says it would. She loved the grape flavor and took it without any issues. As a mom, I really like that it is alcohol, sugar, and dye free which is very important to me. I am so happy I finally found a product that worked for her and kept her symptoms at bay. Overall, I would highly recommend!

My child no longer has to be bribed or begged to take allergy medicine. I like that it is free of alcohol, sugar and dyes. It is great tasting. I tasted it myself before giving it to my child and it reminds me of a popular grape drink even though it is clear. It did cause drowsiness so I will plan ahead and only give it to my child at night for the 24 hour period. The only thing I didn't like about the bottle is that the cap is sealed with a paper/plastic seal that says “lift and peel” Well, you would have to have the forearms and thumbs of a bodybuilder to peel that seal. The only thing that would bring it off was a sharp knife. Overall, this medication was very effective. My child is severely allergic to ragweed and pollen, and there were no breakthrough allergy symptoms with this product.

I think this is a good option maybe it didn't work at the time of my kid's allergies I can say though it has some potential. Clear syrup with a grape flavor.
