We applied as per instructions , and have kept it watered properly. So far we have had good results except we have experienced several brown spots in the yard. Wish this product had some kind of repellent against gophers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Scott's new products this year and have definitely noticed a difference in my lawn. I live in Mobile, Alabama and we have been getting rain just about every day for about a month. I got tired of waiting for the rain to stop so I went ahead and put the Ortho Bug Clear on the lawn. We have a problem with fire ants in this area so I wanted to get ahead of the ant mounds popping up. Well, the next day it poured. But I will have to say that so far I haven't seen any mounds at all. Now, I'm trying to work on the weeds and spaces where I need to replace the grass. We can't get new turf because they don't have any grass because of the rain. I used Scott's seed and fertilizer in the entire yard but I recently had some trees cut and need grass to cover those spaces. Overall I think the bug clear is working and I will continue to use it every six months. It's a good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to get rid of ants and waited a month to write this review to make sure that results lasted. Well they did, been 4 weeks and the ants haven’t returned yet! Other products I’ve used in the past have not been as effective long term.

It is easy to use and gets rid of the unwanted insects in your yard. It works on all types of grass and doesn't smell. It does take some time to dry but results are wonderful. I also like that it doesn't take much of it to work. Overall I'm very pleased.

I was able to completely do my front and back yard in less than 1/2 hour. I also treated my foundation as directed in the instructions. Since then I have not seen an any in the house. My dog loves to lay inn the back yard and has not carried and insect into the house in the last 2 weeks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this in my flower gardens for the Japanese beetle larvae that decided my roses were the meal of the year. I spread it throughout the garden twice with a few days between and there was also rain. I used this in combination with a tactic to get the large ones as well as this for the larvae and I haven’t noticed any damage on my newer growth and I have not seen any of those little buggers since. I hope that having in the soil also prevents the ticks and other pest like insects that I would prefer weren’t in my yard or garden. This definitely has affected the infestation and I will definitely buy more for my other flower beds. It was easy to spread and lightly cover the soil area and it spreads quite far. I have a lot of flower beds, about 10 that are pretty large and this one large bag covered 4 of the largest ones, and that really surprised me how far it went.

I apply this around the foundation of our house as we have ants coming into the house it has not seemed to work very well there. We had ants in a mailbox and I threw some in there and left for 1/2 of a day before removing it from the mailbox and around the base of the mailbox. I am pleased to say that it got rid of the ants in the mailbox and after a week I've not seen anymore there. I also threw some in and around our wood stack i have not seen any there lately.

Love this product because I can treat an area and kill them now and know they won’t come back for months. Have also used for other insect issues but have not had to cover entire yard yet just certain areas. Very pleased.

It’s a lot more enjoyable in the yard for my kids to play it and my vegetables don’t get ruined! Super happy with this product and definitely recommend
