Great disappointment

Product did NOT perform as expected. Grass came up but did not live through the summer even though it was watered regularly. I paid more for the extras in EZ Seed, but its performance was a great disappointment!

We are very sorry that the EZ Seed product did not meet your expectations. Of course, our No Quibble Guarantee is there for cases like this, please contact us if you wish to discuss how to arrange a refund. Once grass germinates, it is very sensitive to the environment until it is able to become established. Even premium grass seedlings can be damaged by herbicides, fungus, or heat stresses. If the new grass does not have at least thirty days of growth before dormancy is triggered by extreme temperatures, it may not have stored enough energy to survive.

Great Product!

Grow New Grass - Simple

Would not recommend

Product worked as stated, however it WAS FULL of CRABGRASS. I used it to patch a few spots and it worked, then two weeks later, it turned into crabgrass. Very disappointed.

Exceeded my expectations

Needed to seed areas where a tree was removed and another where I built terrain up. Seed was easy to apply and germenated quickly. Grass came rich and lush, and blended beautifully with existing grass.

didn't work

I debated about buying this product but purchased it anyway. It said will gow anywhere so why not try. I have two shade trees which do not have grass under them so I tried. Guess what they still don't have grass under them.

Anything less and it will be very difficult to maintain. The pH of the soil surrounding the tree may also be higher or lower depending on the type of trees. Product may work when so so much intense heat like we gad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts EZ Seed. Patch & Repair For Sun / Shade May work wonders if we didn’t have the heat wave we did of 118 . Hottest it’s been here since 1925. I do hope after the summer to try again.

Simple to use

Easy directions to understand and follow. My results are very nice so far. My only concern is how far it goes vs what you need to use. When you do spot reseeding it's quite a guess as to how much to buy.

Easy & Fast Working Seed
