one step seeding

no mulch ,no fertilizer and din`t try to figure out what type of seed I need . This product is a one step program . I put this down and water lightly everyday and in ten days i had to mowe it, it growes so fast. best of all birds can`t eat them

Grass dies in the next season.

I used several bags of EZ Seed and I planted per the instructions, it looked great for the rest of the season, but the next year it turned brown and left a dead clumps of crap. I tried it again the past spring and the same result.

GREAT PRODUCT! SUPER EASY!

Good product - recommend

This product is not very good!

I purchased the 20 lb. bag of EZ Seed for a 300 sq. ft. area. The grass grew in patches and after the grass got to a height of about 2 inches, it grew no taller. The product is way over priced for the results it produces!

We are sorry to hear about the disappointment you have experienced as a result of your recent seeding effort. We'd like to offer a few tips that may be helpful to you in future seeding endeavors. Scotts EZ Seed requires both continuous moisture and warm soil temperatures. You also must be sure to spread the EZ Seed Sun & Shade evenly over the prepared area. The seed should be sparsely applied to the depth of about 1/16" to 1/8" thick. If the product has been applied too thickly, germination will be poor. Also, make sure that no weed control or weed prevention product has been used where you are seeding, as those products will also prevent or inhibit germination of the seed. When used on newly germinated lawns, herbicides will kill off the new grass. Temperature also plays a critical role in seedling germination. Soil temperatures for this particular product must be at least 55° F for the seed to germinate. For best results, daytime temperatures must typically be in the 60-80°F. range and not going below 50°F at night. Seeds will not germinate if the temperatures are cold at night, or are fluctuating from high day temperature to very low night time temperatures.We truly hope these extra tips are helpful. Looks good for first few months

EZ SEED PATCH & REPAIR SUN & SHADE
