Easiest seed ever used

I needed to add some grass seed to a "dog place". I put some top soil down, added a bit of lime and the EZ Seed. It took and now it filled in the brown spots & bare spots on the lawn. Great product!!

Worked for me :

EZ SEED

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just started using ez seed this season, and found that its very easy to use ,great directions. And I got a great looking back yard, in just a few weeks. No bare spots, just green grass.

Guaranteed Grass

SO SO PRODUCT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well the product was put down about two - three weeks ago. So far no grass has grown. The ground was primed and there has been plenty of rain. Therefore, I can not give this product a good rating.

We are sorry to hear of your disappointment with our product. Cool season grasses requires soil temperatures must be at least 55 degrees. The warmer the soil, the faster the germination. This generally requires daytime temperatures consistently in the 65+ degrees (18.3 Celsius) range. In the spring it takes a lot of consistent warm temperatures to warm up the soil, especially in the northern states. If you have any additional questions, please call 800-543-8873 for assistance

It works great

No germination!!! Wow a Scott's product?!

Your product doesn't work. Really annoyed by the copy paste response from prior poor reviews, I live in sunny Southern California. My lawn is warm and is watered via sprinkler system. I am surprised that it's been 2 weeks with very poor results.

However, in most cases a lack of germination is caused by one or a combination of four issues: temperatures, moisture, the use of herbicides or that the product was applied at more than 1/8 of an inch thick. With the exception of the use of herbicides, correcting the problem will help the seed to germinate. Produces lush green grass.

When you follow the directions and don't skimp, this product will exceed you expectation. I did that. The result was lush green grass that looks better than the rest of the lawn. I wish I could do my entire yard with this product.
