I purchased this generator after a couple of recent day-long outages. I ran some tests with it and it powered everything except my HVAC and electric water heater (note that I have a well pump). I turned everything off except the well pump and a couple of lighting circuits and I could run my water heater as well. I'm ready for the winter now!

I put it together when i recieved it. It was very easy. I was anxious to start it up,but it would not start. So I sat and thought what did I forget. I did not turn the gas switch on. Once I completed my situation,I used the remote,and she started right up! I went into the house and pushed the wireless Remote start through a steel door in the kitchen ,and she started right up! Don"t think about buying one just do it. I have theWGEN7500

This generator only took a few minutes to set up and get running. It started instantly and runs strong. I love the ability to use propane or gas and to switch back and forth as desired. This will be used with a transfer switch as a backup generator for loss of power but if you need to use it for other reasons there are plenty of receptacles.

Just received it and got it started. Instructions are good and easy to follow. Unit started up very quickly and wasn't as loud as I expected. Has great features like remote start and dual fuel. Came with oil canister and all the accessories I needed.

After purchasing this generator about two months later the start stop switch failed. The technical support team responded in a reasonable amount of time. The team diagnosed the problem and shipped a replacement. Although it was a little hard to replace the switch the generator is up and running again.

I bought this after Hurricane Ida to be prepared for the next one. I am very pleased with the numerous options it provides! Installing the front mounts and wheels was a breeze. Electric start and the option of using gas or propane were the things I liked best..

We bought this generator in preparation for upcoming hurricane season here in Florida. We have the house fixed so that we can connect this generator to the outside meter and run most of the home. It runs very smoothly and is extremely versatile. The remote start is great but I am impressed that they included a trickle charger for the battery. Good job Westinghouse!

We purchased the WGen7500DF based upon size, dual fuel capability, and customer reviews, and are very happy with this model. During and after hurricane Florence, we were without power for five days. This generator provided consistent, quality performance on either propane or gas. While it may be a little loud for nighttime use (as stated in other reviews), we are relatively secluded, so it was not an issue. Plus, we needed the full 7500w capacity and output of this generator. Highly recommended!

Ordered on Sat 7/25/2020 - Delivered on Friday 7/31/2020 - liftgate service and packaging was in excellent shape - delivered as promised. I didn't think I'd need it as soon as I did - so hadn't assembled it - but had to assemble and use during throes of storm Isaias. Lost power afternoon on Tuesday 8/4 - assembled that afternoon -and ran continuously ( using gasoline ) until power restored on afternoon Thursday 8/6 - running extensions from generator to house ( 48+ hrs ). Ran using gasoline. Did not get a chance to use propane feature. Unit came with battery cables already connected but this model must have been redesigned and now has a pigtail connection to starter/alternator case which needs to be connected which isn't included in the "ASSEMBLY/CONNECTING THE BATTERY" section of manual. Push button electric start used and unit fired up. Have not tried to start using manual recoil.

I looked for something my family could use if wasn't available and while a bit heavier than I wanted, they can move it pretty easily, and operate it without trouble. Love the dual fuel option. This will also power, my Fridge and a few other things during a power outage. Hurricanes can be an issue where we live, and after going through Ian, this purchase made a lot of sense
