Great product

Took about ten minutes to set up, I hooked up to propane, it took three tries to fire up, and ran like a champ. I load tested thru an transfer switch to our house which is 3500 square feet for an hour and it ran everything no problem, but I did not turn on the AC.... I looked everywhere for how much oil it should take, but fyi, it takes a full quart....

Perfect! Keeps house running during an outage.

We experience frequent power outages. This unit is perfect for when we lose power - we hooked it up to the main power in our house and it powers everything except the AC/Furnace. This unit makes it easy for anone to operate especially with the propane tank option. Get a splitter and use the same tanks you use for your gas grill - 2 should last for several hours! No more throwing away food because of loss of power.

So far, so good

I am happy to review as requested but I have not owned this generator a full week yet. Assembly was easy but it would help to note the oil capacity in the manual. The start-up was easy and the features are good. I hope it continues to impress. I might give a five after I've used it for a year but only a four here because it's early.

Easy Setup

Just unpacked and started up on propane. No problems at all, starts super easy with the remote start. Just want to mention, the remote start button was clipped to the pull start, not part of the other packaging. And, I couldn't find the button to marry the genny to the remote, but it worked out of the box.

Work from home back up plan!

This was easy to hook up and quieter than expected. It powers most of our 1800 square foot house including WiFi, kitchen appliances, hot water heater and air handler (not the AC). Our power goes out frequently and this is a welcome back up plan. Would recommend.

Seems very good so far.

I bought this last month, and it was really easy to install the wheels and feet and even came with a wrench for this plus a funnel for adding oil and a spark plug wrench. The remote start works well. Calling customer support was easy with an almost immediate connection to someone who did help me (see near the end of this review). The cons: The range if the remote is only about 30 feet. Filling the oil is awkward as space is rather tight for the funnel supplied. The instruction manual on the web was better than the one that came with the unit (probably an older version). It is very noisy, but probably similar to other generators. There is a button on the display, which is hard to see and I couldn't find any reference for that in the instructions. The worst part is that the web site given in the instructions and bonus card is flagged by Chrome and Malwarebytes as having dangerous malware. The acceptable website, although very long is westinghouseoutdoorpower.com and then click Support-Warranty Registration to get to this area. All in all, I am pretty well satisfied with it so far.

Easy to use

Easy to use and starts right up. Only issue I had was that the battery cable was disconnected when it arrived but was zip-tied together making it look as though it was connected. Once I figured out the problem and properly connected the battery it started right up.

Best on Market

After doing a ton of research, I found this to be best available Dual Fuel Generator on market. After getting it home, was simple to put wheels and stoppers on. Put oil in it, hooked up to propane and away it worked. Feel very comfortable knowing this will help power majority of my house if and when we lose power again.

Minimal Assembly required and great operation

Happy to find that the battery was already connected and partially charged, so I only had to attach the wheels and support pads, which was super-easy since they included the wrench (plus a bonus spark plug wrench). Started right up on propane! ONLY NEGATIVE: the recommendation to break the engine in for 5 hours is buried in fine print under the oil adding/checking; it should be more prominently featured.

simple to put together, hooked up propane and it started !!

live in central Florida,I have been with out power for several hurricanes and decided I am not this year! After careful consideration I chose this unit. I like the fact it is a dual fuel generator and has a lot of great options for the value and is very well constructed.
