Anything mechanical or technical is a challenge for me; but this generator has good instructions and I can get it started with no problem. The push button electric start is easier than pulling a cord several times. And I can choose between using gas or propane -- whichever is most available and cheapest at the time

I bought this generator a couple of days ago because PG&E shut off power to most of Northern Cal. I have 2 refrigerators and a freezer and my food was going bad. It has more than enough power to run those appliances and more. It's a little noisier than I expected but not enough to really bother me too much.

My wife and I purchased this Generator for the total and peak wattage. The price was right for what we needed. Purchased back in June of 2019. Just got around to setting it up due to PG&E doing PSPS outage. I had not yet set it up to feed into our panel. So, I was using extension cords to power my appliances. It replaced a Champion 3500/4000 genie in use until this one got fired for the first time. It is a little louder than the previous one which is to be expected. The main drawback for me is I kept tripping the GFCI on the 20A 120V outlets. So I called the tech support line and was speaking to a live body in the USA with a few minutes. Come to find out: The 120V outlets only provide 2400 running watts each. So I was not getting even the 7500W divided by two. No wonder I was tripping the GFCI protection. Other than the above, I like this generator. It fired up easily the first time using the electric start (follow the directions boys and girls). The keyfob remote even worked well. I like that you just push the button once and it repeats the start cycle until it fires. The auto choke appears to work well. Well built unit and easy to assemble. Don't hesitate to purchase. Just know the 120V outlets only give you 2400 running watts each. If you are looking for higher wattage, you have to run a transfer switch or back feed breaker into the panel. Disclaimer: Make sure if you run a back feed breaker you install a cutoff switch so you don't fry someone up the line working to restore your power. Always use or seek the advise of a licensed electrician. Install any electrical wiring in your home to local codes.

We bought this to keep essentials (sump pump, freezer, fridge) running during the inevitable power outages where we live. We have used it a couple of times so far and it works fine. We like the dual fuel option and have so far only used the propane option, which has worked well.

I purchased this generator after a lot of research. We live in an area that is subject to weather disrupting our electricity so I needed a dependable unit that had multi fuel sources. Our last outage also resulted in our local gas stations not have gasoline, and our local electric company was not giving us accurate information regarding power being restored. After experiencing several outages over the years, we decided that the uncertainty was stressful. We weren't crazy about running extension cords throughout the house or investing in a standby generator. This generator was a great solution. We have set up the capability to run most of our home using this generator and a transfer switch. We have run the generator several times during its break in period, and it is truly a relatively quiet unit. I have already recommended this setup to friends who live in the area. Great solution at a relatively economic price.

A lot of power in a small package, received my generator a few days earlier than expected which was great. the box took a beating but the generator was fine. very easy to put the wheels and support pegs on. will be using for the 4th for our family picnic. and will be able to give a better review as soon as my home hook up switch is complete. I purchased due to the storms in our area becoming worse and seeing more power outages so this will fill in while repairs are being done to the power lines.

I have not run this for longer than a few minutes YET but the power is set to go off AGAIN in my neighborhood in the next day or so due to windy weather.. out of the box took a few minutes to start with button, but after the first start started up easily in a few seconds. The pull start is more difficult and would not expect my wife to be able to start this way. Gas and propane fuels both ran fine. Hopefully with the next outage this will perform as expected.

Looks great and love the fact it comes with everything you'll need to get it running right away! It did not what to start using gas until I moved the throttle manually. I moved the throttle to half way and then it fired right up and then the throttle regulated itself. Might just need some adjusting. Deducted 1 star for this. Shouldn't this be caught before it leaves the factory? Fired right up on propane. Haven't needed it for any extended outage yet.

My wife and I are extremely happy with the generator. Absolutely love the wireless feature, we don't have to leave our RV to get it started. The only problem that we have encountered is the propane regulator has a compromised gasket so the propane leaks. But we are currently working with customer support to get it resolve.

Bought this generator a month. Was very easy to set up. It took my a while to get it started the first time, but once I did, it starts very easily now. I haven't needed to use it yet (I'm sure I will as I live in S/W Florida and hurricane season just started) but I'm looking forward using it if needed. The only reason I gave it only 4 stars is that I have used it under a load yet.
