I bought this to replace an ancient 240V Craftsman generator for the purposes of serving as a backup when we lose power during a rainstorm (since I need to be able to continue running my sump pumps to prevent flooding). The main requirement was a dual fuel option since I didn't want to have to stabilize and store gasoline for the few times a year that I need to hook the generator up to my home's transfer switch. I appreciated the fact that the manual included clear and easy directions to float the neutral for my use case. At this point, I've only tested the Westinghouse once and things worked perfectly, running off propane. Here's to hoping it serves me well the first time I really need to use it.

The generator arrived yesterday. I set it up this AM. Followed the instructions. Oil in. Half tank gas. It WILL NOT RUN ON GASOLINE. Fuel line clear. Gas in carb. Just will not run. Hooked up Propane unit fired right up. Ran it on the propane for a while and tried gas. Did not start. Tried manual start with no choke incase she was flooded. Sent a note to them. Will in the AM. I'm open to ideas on why.

Generator will run our whole house just like the power never went out. also quieter than I expected. To be fair, we have gas stove and dryer so the generator does not have to run many heating elements but everything in the entire house works like the power never went out.

I bought this few days ago, I have not got a chance to use it for emergencies but based on reviews and description it will provide what I need. Easy to assemble (wheels and legs/support), starting the unit was very easy just follow the instructions. This product is a no brainer!

I only have too hook up my grills propane tank and hit the button every month to check it out. No gas in the carburetor getting gummed up (like my RV). Runs quieter than our old one and its Bigger. Ran A test for 2hrs and it powered everything we need (almost looking forward to losing power). Thanks For Making A Great Product

I bought this for the Florida Hurricane season. Besides the power and great features, the option to run propane (or gas) and not have to worry about stale gasoline being left in the tank is a great relief. This is a "JUST IN CASE" purchase. I hope I only have to use it on rare occasions.

I recently bought this item to prepare for any future power outages. The generator was packaged well and it arrived without any damages. The build quality is what you would expect from Westinghouse. The wattage is enough for my needs and should power a majority of my necessities during any outage. The dual fuel options and the remote start are sure to come in handy.

Emergency power source for mother's home - Dual fuel capability made it able to connect fuel supply from her home's LP line, so she doesn't have to worry about refueling. Note that Automatic Transfer Switch capability is not yet an option in December of 2018, but may be available 1st quarter of 2019, making the installation a truly automatic system.

It was nice to have all the tools necessary for the simple assembly. The battery was connected, just needed a charge. It's a very heavy sturdy build. Happy that the auto choke and auto start have manual back ups. Like all air cooled engines it's loud, but starts so easy with the touch of a button! Would recommend.
