I only used the generator in order to see that it is ready for the next electric outage. After filling up oil/gas, I hit the start button and it instantly started; no problem. I plugged in two power circular hand saws and it didn't phase it. I think this unit is the top of the line for the price.

Generator arrived in good condition. Easy to follow owners manual. Only needed to put wheels and front pads on. Very easy. Next I wanted to make sure generator ran and produced electricity. Connected generator to a Propane tank and used remote to start. Started easily and then checked power output and everything worked. I got this model since it ran on duel fuel thus I could and can ran it periodically without worrying out gas going stale. However, if it become necessary I can operate it with regular gas. Best of both worlds.

My Generac gave up the ghost after 18 years, so I did extensive research before purchasing this generator. I was looking for a Generator that my wife could start without having to pull a cord. This Generator fit the bill. Assembly was easy. The instructions are straight forward & easy to follow. I like the maintenance schedule that came with the literature. The Generator looks powerful, hopefully we will not need it. I have not as yet started it due to a lack of time. I may start it this weekend and give it a small test drive.

I purchased the WGEN7500DF to replace my 3750 watt pull start generator when it died. The 7500 is a breeze to start with the push of a button, and has more than enough power for my sump pump, well pump, water heater, furnace, refrigerator, with plenty left over for lighting and charging phones. I love the dual fuel option so I can easily switch to propane during an extended outage when gasoline gets scarce. I'd recommend Westinghouse to anyone looking for a great, feature rich household generator.

This is my first generator which seems to be a requirement down here in South Florida. The instructions are easy to follow and I had the machine running up in no time! I especially love the idea of running from propane and think it is a wonderful feature. The controls are easy to use and this is going to come in great after the next hurricane hits! Word of note, this thing is heavy! Don't try to move the box by yourself!

Bought unit as back up power in the event of power loss due to hurricanes. Very easy and minimal assembly required. Unit out of the box started and ran smoothly on propane and was quiet for its size .Supplied ample power for our house during testing. We are confident this unit will perform for years to come . We live on a East Coast barrier island so we had to have a unit that we could depend on .Being a retired power plant operator Westinghouse has been a name of quality and dependability I respect. The features and construction quality of WGen7500DF along with a unheard of 3YEAR WARRANTY is proof enough for me that this generator is built to last.

I bought the generator last week and it would not start. The battery seemed dead and it would not start. I tried to contact Westinghouse Outdoor Power and the phone kept disconnecting. I finally got connected and Jathy informed me the battery was disconnected and how to connect it. He said he get 5-6 calls like this a day. the starter worked and the battery seems okay.

Out of the box the unit was easily assembled (wheels and feet). Having an appropriate funnel for adding the oil was a plus. Criticism involves the instructions. Upon opening the box there is the User Manual and several other sheets of information in a bag. The Quick Start guide is one of the sheets but is on the inside of a folded sheet and was not immediately discovered. It was several days before the Quick Start guide was discovered.The Quick Start guide and the Manual have different recommendations for the installation of the feet and tires. The Quick Start guide's item #2 does not suggest how the generator should be positioned to install the tires. The user manual suggests tipping the generator onto one side then the other to install the feet and wheels. The propane hook up extends past the edge of the protective frame and could be subject to damage if the unit is turned onto its side without more than cardboard as suggested. Both methods require user interpretation. More minor are discrepancies between what the User manual states as to location of included elements; e.g., location of the remote starter (not in the box but on the recoil handle) and what the user has to do in addition to installing the feet and tires; e.g., connecting the battery

Set up was simple and easy - took about 20 minutes. One small issue; the product and documentation were not exactly the same. The documentation stated to attach the terminals to the battery whereas mine were already attached. However, the unit had no power. Checked battery and it was fully charged. Checked all wiring and connectors which were all OK. I kept looking and found a disconnect connector tucked up under the frame on the negative battery cable which was not connected. I connected it and all was well.

I am so excited to have this Electric Start / Duel fuel generator for my small farm. Hurricane Idelia left me without power for 8 days. My original generator ran my well or only 2 appliances, it could run both the well and appliances, it quit working. This Westinghouse WGen7500DF portable generator was easy to assemble, runs the well, 4 appliances, 2 USB ports, and more with fast easy start. At my age it is hard to pull start equipment. The remote start is amazing so I don't have to go outside. Knowing I have portable gas tanks for reserve if gasoline runs out or is hard to find gives me peace of mind. I could not be more delighted with this piece of necessary equipment for my farm.
