So far so good

I haven't actually used it yet, but it seems like a nice machine now that I have it going. The only problem I had getting it started is that the directions for installing the battery were not applicable for me. It showed how to connect the cable to the posts, which I already knew, but my cables were already connected. They were not, however connected to the solenoid, so I spent a long time trying to figure things out.

Not good using propane

No instructions for running on propane. Found I had to keep the choke full on to work (I think choke is faulty too) So seems to use a lot of propane until tank is half empty then it shuts off, start again runs for up to hour then shuts off, leaving 25% of the propane, I have to put on a new tank for it to work again

Issues

Opened the box put together easily. Read manual. Added engine oil. Added gasoline. Would not start. Switched it to propane, started up and everything was operating as it should. Switched back to gasoline still won't start. Yes I turned the valve to the on position. Gas is getting to the carburetor but will not fire. Created a repair ticket waiting to hear back. From what I have read online, most likely won't be called back.

Handles the load I will put on it and starts easily.

I was really hoping to get the generator cover bonus because I need another power strip like I need another hole in my head. We'll see how the generator holds up under use. Still very early to tell. The remote start is nice, but having to put the start toggle on and placing a load on the battery with the indicator lamp seems counter productive.

Good so far

I don't really feel like I should leave a review yet as I haven't even started it yet. That said, so far so good. I read a review somewhere that the wheels were like a child's toy that fall apart easily and that is far from the truth. The wheels are heavy duty solid rubber material. I doubt the wheels that came with my unit fall apart easily. It came with the propane hose, which I was very pleased to find out. So far so good as it passes the eye test and parts seem to be heavy duty. I'm very excited to get this thing started up to see what it can do.

Righteous little generator

Bought this a year ago. Still starts right up and powers the house great. Plugged into the power inlet/transfer switch for the house and I have power to spare. Love the dual fuel feature. It's a heavy beast, so have help if you need to load it into a truck or trailer.

Impressive Power and Features

When I opened the box it was very easy to locate all the parts. After the small amount of assembly (wheels, feet, connecting battery, adding oil and fuel) I started it up and tested it with two refrigerators and ran my tankless water heater. I originally only wanted those items to have power if there is an outage, but with the ability to connect to my home with manual transfer switch I think I will go that route. Easy to start with the electronic switch or wireless remote starter.

I just purchased this product

I just purchased this product. I have only had a chance to try it on the gas as well as the propane for just a short time. I read the reviews and they all sounded great. I hope it works as well for me. I love the electric start. It really makes it easy for me to start. it pretty much has all of the features that anyone would want. With the wheels attached it is not hard to move.

Easy to start and enough power for all your needs

I purchased the WGEN7500DF to replace my 3750 watt pull start generator when it died. The 7500 is a breeze to start with the push of a button, and has more than enough power for my sump pump, well pump, water heater, furnace, refrigerator, with plenty left over for lighting and charging phones. I love the dual fuel option so I can easily switch to propane during an extended outage when gasoline gets scarce. I'd recommend Westinghouse to anyone looking for a great, feature rich household generator.

Easy to Assemble

I bought this after a recent power outage. I wanted to be prepared for the next power outage because it took three days to get the power back on. It was easy to assemble and the instructions are very clear. I have not used it yet but I have it all set up for the next power outage. I am a 59 year old women and was able to push it around nicely with the attached handle.
