Just received the generator. I put the wheels on, put the oil in, turned the valve to propane, connected propane tank, pushed start, and it was humming in seconds. The oil filler funnel could be a bit longer as it just barely make sit. The instruction manual was slightly different than the unit I received. The setup instructions never mentioned putting in the oil. But there is a very clear tag on the oil filler saying oil needs to be added and the quart of oil that comes in the box should be a pretty big clue. So I can't imagine anyone missing it. The battery leads were already connected to the battery but there is now an inline connector which needs to be connected. Also pretty obvious and should be quite clear to anyone who has any business operating a generator.

I purchased this generator ahead of Hurricane Laura. I wanted a backup power source to run the air conditioner in my small travel trailer in the event we lost power to our home. I love the dual fuel feature. I connected it to our home's propane tank so there is no concern about finding gasoline in an emergency. The generator started first time and runs the camper's a/c with no problems. Provides peace of mind for this this event and any future power outages.

I bought the 7500DF generator a month ago when I decided to leave the city life for the country life. I primarily bought this generator because power outages are not uncommon where I live and want to make certain my water pump and hot water tank always work! Mission accomplished! Everything works as it should with both propane and gas. Although my electrician has not hooked it up yet, I already used to to connect my stove and water pump directly!

I purchased this Unit for a recent Michigan 3 Day power outage. I oiled it up and prepped it for Back Feed. It has been a tremendous lifesaver and powered all but our AC--With things not being used simultaneously of course. We were able to do dishes/Laundry and enjoy a night of movies.

After the winter storm, generators became in demand. I chose this brand because of high rating. The delivery arrived in two weeks and its in good condition. I was able to install all parts easily and the wheels that came with it look strong. The instructions are easy to follow. I trust this brand and I hope I don't get disappointed after using it. Happy to have a generator standing by.

I PURCHASED THIS ABOUT THREE WEEKS AGO,AND JUST OPENED THE BOX YESTERDAY.I ADDED THE OIL AND GAS AND CONNECTED THE BATTERY.I PUSHED THE ELECTRIC START BUTTON AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP.I PLUGGED IN MULTIPLE ITEMS IN THE OUTLETS AND HAD NO PROBLEM.GREAT PRODUCT.

Happy I was able to purchase this generator. It is heavy duty and loaded with different features including the ability to run on propane. Unit started right up using the electric start. My intention is to use it for emergency power of various household items including a furnace blower. I've not had power knocked out yet but today is wind with freezing rain. One other thing I'm impressed with is the mobility. Though it is a heavy unit, the fold up handle allows easy moving.

I never really thought about ever needing a generator in my life, but PG&e turns California into a post-apocalyptic wasteland for days at a time now, so I needed a way to keep the fridge on and the cell phones charged. Just having to store propane instead of gasoline is a huge relief. Thanks to this Westinghouse 7500 I haven't had to read a single book for entertainment!

I've been looking for a "duel fuel" generator with electric start for some time now and finally got my Westinghouse WGen7500DF delivered this week. It was delivered w/o any issues and was easy to set up and get ready to run. Tried propane first...hooked up the tank, switched fuel selector to propane, flipped the start switch and then clicked the remote (a perk I wasn't looking for - but very happy this model came with it) and the generator started right up. Also took it through the paces using gas and also used the manual start with no issues. I now feel more confident that should mother nature throw another hurricane our way that I have a reliable backup power source. Very happy !!

I'm a new oxygen user and living in rural upstate NY we do get the occasional power outage, winter and summer. Husband is an electrical engineer by trade so after some drilling and wiring we tested the setup and everything worked as planned. So relieved.
