Not yet run, but arrived in excellent condition. While reading the manual I noticed a couple of features that I hadn't seen when making the decision to order that made me even happier I chose this unit. And little things like including an angled funnel for adding motor oil make a difference. It looks like Somebody really thought about the total customer experience.

The unit arrived by truck and I assembled it with no problems. It worked fine the first time I tried to start it. The push-button electric start is easy to use, and great if my wife needs to start it. It is easy to roll with the handle. My electrician, who installed my transfer switch, said it was good generator. I researched it for a week online, and decided I liked the dual fuel option, and the larger wattage (7500) than other generators on the market.

The generator arrived two days ahead of schedule but it worked out for us. Easy to assemble out of the box. I followed the printed directions carefully and it started up on the first try. I am using propane to begin with so have not tested the gas component. I did recommend to my son in law and he purchased the same model. Hopefully it will get us through the tough NE winters.

After losing 2 freezers worth of food due to a thunderstorm decided that it wasn't going to happen again so purchased this generator just in time before getting hit for a second time in 3 weeks. Generator worked flawlessly started first time and had power restored in a matter of minutes. Nice selection of power outputs I plan to use the L14-30 output to get whole house connected and get rid of the extension cords, this unit has more than enough power to do this. Love the GCFI protection , remote start , power output display, and more not the kind of extras you see with other generators. Arguably a heavy unit but definitely robust and that's what you need for reliability especially when using it for whole house support. Oh and yes it's dual fuel so if the gas station has lost power you have another backup option nice! Totally recommend it awesome generator, I love it, giving it 5 stars.

It does everything I wanted: runs on propane for long term storage, it has all the power my home needs, and is 240V. I would like it to be quieter for my residential neighborhood, it's about equal to my lawn mower. I shopped for several days online and its on par with all the others with the same features.

Generator works very well. I have used it 4-5 times mostly just to keep it fresh and use power towels out in the yard. Have not had to put it through powering the house yet, but see no issues with wear and starts up rather easy. You do have to keep the battery charged up. I had use the pull start twice but own fault of letting battery die.

I bought this after dealing with a power outage that lasted a week and I'm glad i did! i did lots of research and this one seemed to be the best all around and it doesn't disappoint. i love the dual fuel options and my wife loves the easy push button start.

Brand new, just set up out of the box. Fresh gas, battery charged. I would love to leave a positive review, but I can't get it started. We've done all the trouble shooting except trying to start with propane. Once we get a tank of propane, we'll try that. Looks like it may need to be taken in for repair before it has ever started. Very disappointing, since all the positive reviews were a major reason I bought this machine. Hope it is something simple so I can post a GLOWING review.

I chose this generator after conducting online research of similar sized products. The Westinghouse 7500DF was highly rated which versed to my purchase. I'm glad I did as the generator was easy to set up and performed flawlessly during my initial testing. Now I won't have to worry about power outages during long Maine winters.

Generator was shipped very quickly (from Amazon) - order placed Jan 16, arrived Jan 21. The enclosed oil container was crushed, but fortunately the oil did not have a chance to cover the generator. All I had to do was to buy a can of standard oil. Connected to a propane tank and the generator started immediately. Connected about 5KW for testing and the voltage dropped from 122 to 115, which is acceptable. The only potential issue is noise - it is noisier than what I would have expected, but perhaps it is due to propane. Will try to run it on regular gas next.
