Bought after 2 day power outage. Got it assembled and filled with oil. Tested with propane. Took several good pulls to start first time. Ran it for several hours with a light load to break in according to manual. Feel ready for the incoming storm! Thanks Westinghouse! I will be working on installing a transfer switch when we dry out a bit.

Just received my Westinghouse 7500 generator. I'm very pleased that when I opened up the box and put a few things together it fired right up. I hooked it to propane and had no issues at all. It runs very smooth right from the box. This product was recommended to me and I will recommend it to others that I know are looking to purchase a generator.

I purchased this W7500DF generator in Nov 2018. I only tried it with propane. It started fine the first time and the next several times that I tested it. It was never run to provide electricity only started to exercise the engine. now 10 months later it doesn't start at all. Now I'm going to try to have it repaired under warranty.

Manual needs updating. Instructions on connecting battery on page 12, not necessary. Battery already connected. Battery wires, however, had a union that was not connected, and no mentioned in owner's manual. There is a small drawing in the “Quick Start” guide, but not found easily. Wasted an hour trying to get remote start to work. Finally connected the battery wires union, started right up. There needs to be a notice tag attached to the open battery connector.

I purchased the WGen7500DF dual fuel portable generator in August 2021 everything was packed securely and shipped in a timely manner. I am so happy with this generator; it was easy to set-up and worked from the first start. I have not run for a long period of time but it's ready for the next power outage.

I bought this generator after I broke my shoulder and couldn't start my older Westinghouse 5500/6750 that had a manual start engine. The WGen7500DF filled all my needs. Not only is it extremely easy to start, it gives me a second option for fuel. I love the idea of being able to use the propane tank from my grill as a backup. The gas stations around here either have to close when the power goes out, or, if they do have power, there's about a 2-3 hour wait in line to buy gas. All of this was made abundantly clear to me during the great Texas freeze and power outage this past winter. I had to get neighbors to come over and start my old generator, after I cut it off to go get in line to buy gas. No more of that, plus this thing looks like it could power the whole neighborhood. If I ever need to buy another one, it'll be a Westinghouse, and I'll always recommend your line of products. Other people must recognize the value too, because my old one sold in about 5 hours. I like this new dual features option generator for using either gasoline or propane. I like this great electric push button start and remote starter that makes starting the beast so easy. Got this generator more than two weeks ago and very happy that I got it. I do recommend this generator to anyone who want to purchase one.

Unboxed this unit and put about a gallon of gas in it. It turned on within two seconds and purred like a kitten. Have yet to use it in a power outage but my electrician recommended this model and so far it seems like a great unit. Dual gas is the key thing here because it gives you more options. I can tell it's quality built and the instructions were very clear, including the maintenance schedule. Would no doubt recommend Westinghouse as a generator.

I bought this generator a few weeks back and I am very impressed with the features, ease of use and performance. I specifically purchased this for back-up power for our home since we live in the country and rely on a well for our water supply. This generator provides enough power for our well, lighting, fireplace fan, and refrigerator which is exactly what we need at a price we can afford.

Bought this generator 1 year ago. I start it every 3 months to check if it's ok. Last month there was a 4 days power outage. Run flawlessly. Last week, another power outage (24 hrs). Run well for 2 hr and then it stopped and never restarted. I used to be a mechanic, so I checked everything (fuel/gas, oil, fire, filters, valve clearance...) according to the user manual. Now I had to call support.
