Ninja 10-in-1 Air Fry Oven (201)

I just bought this oven. It is not out of box yet. However, on the Sam's Club app, it states that this unit has a FIVE year warranty. In the data that came with the oven, it states that the oven has a ONE year warranty. Which is correct? That is a serious difference.

Great if you can get a deep discount.

I bought this a few months ago when it was $60 off. I had an air fryer lid for my Instant Pot which I liked, except the surface area limited what I could use it for. I really like that this is more like a toaster oven than most air fryers I’ve seen, which are small and deep. With this I can fit an average-sized frozen / French Bread pizza, or two single-serve pizzas. I also use it to cook Just Bare breaded chicken strips, and the Mesquite grilled chicken breast fillets, both of which are also available In Da Club. For this model, Ninja deleted the feature where you can remove the bottom panel to clean the interior of the unit. Not a big deal so far as I haven’t really gotten the inside very dirty. What is a pain to clean are the mesh basket and the crumb tray. When air frying stuff like chicken, fish, etc., small bits of food stick to the mesh, and also fall onto the crumb tray. If you leave these to accumulate food or grease, they bake on and harden, after which it takes hours to clean them with much effort. To prevent this in the future I’m doing what many others have resorted to, using a removable liner at the bottom, and perforated parchment paper in the basket.

YOU CANT CLEAN THIS AIR FRYER!!

I thought this air fryer looked good but familiar. I remembered our granddaughter has one. It is impossible to clean. It looks like a person found it in a junk yard after you use it and try to clean it. We like the things we use to look nice as well as work and it doesnt. The shine is totally gone every smear of grease is like a stain. I have never seen an appliance like this before. These appliances are costly and I just felt so strongly about this that I wanted to let people know about it.

A bit taller than the original.

I had the original flip and loved it, except it was too darn short! Upgraded to this one when it went on sale. Unfortunately the pan and rack from the first do not fit in the second, but you Can use the black pan from the first as a sort of 'over flow safety' catch tray. The black sear tray/pan with this one, seems to only fit at one height position, which is a little frustrating, but I guess not a deal breaker. As far as casserole dishes, you still can't go crazy - possibly a normal height Pyrex may be fine (I don't own one), but you would Not want your food to rise above the edge while cooking, I think. - Sam's carries a set of smaller casseroles by Martha Stewart (3 pieces, almost a Tiffany blue) that fit Perfectly, but may not fit more than a family of two. I have not cooked anything big and splattery- I'm disabled and don't want to create unnecessary labor for myself. It does great with stir frying (air frying) zuke & onion with balsamic glaze, pot stickers/dumplings, corn bread, custards, casseroles, tuna melts, everything flat (pizza/fish fingers/etc...) - so I have Not done bacon/chicken wings/the sort, so cane really speak about the clean up. I have mine sat on top of my stove so that I don't need to worry about counter/heat, and can easily use the range hood vent- I haven't had a smoke issue though because I don't cook those foods. I haven't really needed to flip it up yet either, but I can see where that wouldn't be the greatest/smartest thing to do to the power cord. My only serious warning would be to possibly NOT get this for someone with a visual impairment. The controls are easy enough to use, but getting things out of it, when it's a short space from top to bottom- using a pot holder or two, it can be difficult to get your fingers or hand in to grab the edge of your dish without the serious concern of getting burnt. In this instance, possibly the bucket type of air fryer is designed better - but how do you cook a pizza in those?
