I think the chances of me not having this stolen by the first person who discovers what this is in my family is limited. It is hefty, but the hood makes it easier to walk around with in the house. Bought it in late spring, so it's tucked away for now, but once fall hits, I'll be a blanket with a head.

My 13 year old who hates blankets try's taking my blanket from me so i have to get him his own, we love it. If he likes it I know everyone will love it. I literally sleep without waking up throughout the night. As someone who is cold all the time this blanket keeps me warm. I tell all my friends about it. Only thing is when i try to use the hoody its just too heavy on my neck but overall, you wont go wrong with this blanket

I bought two of these for my kids who are doing "distanced learning". When school gets stressful they wear their blankets or if they're just listening to a lecture on zoom they wrap up. They also use them as a regular blanket throw when relaxing or reading on the couch.

I bought this because In the south my sons have to play school soccer in the fall/winter time. It gets so cold at 7pm so I wanted something that would be warm. I do like this but the ten lbs feels like 20 lol its so heavy. It will definitely keep you warm. I am 5'4" 155 lbs and it wraps around me but my man is 5'10 260 built strong not fat and it wont wrap around him. Also, if you have a sore kneck or issues with your neck please dont buy this because if you use the hood it will be heavy on your head. I love it but some may not.

Overall, it is nice. But unlike other weighted blankets, it says it is not machine washable. Since it comes stinking like chemicals, this is a problem. Some of the beads have leaked out. I think the sewing jobe could ans should be better.

It's you're a kid or a small adult this is great. Medium and bigger adults will find this to be too small.

Not sure who could use this. it's too short for a blanket, and too heavy for a chair wrap. I didn't realize how much 10 pounds actually weighs in the form of a cover. The only reason I gave it a two star rating. Its just not for me. BUT - I bet many other find it great.

Wanted to love this but it's not only cumbersome because it's too small to actually properly wrap yourself with but it's also defective or poorly made. We will be returning this. I did not realize the minute glass beads had been pouring out of this blanket for who know how long. It wasn't until I took it to an area that was not carpeted that I kept hearing something hitting the ground each time I moved or tried to rearrange the throw. I thought I was going mad cos I could not see a single thing. I got on all four with a flashlight and finally was able to spot the tiniest of glass beads that had been coming out of this throw. I immediately threw the throw in a plastic bag where it has been until the next time we visit Sam's. This is a hazard if you have children or pets.

Horrible weighted throw! It leaks the tiny glass beads. You feel as though your laying in sand after a few nights. I will be returning.

Second throw I purchased. Returned first item because it leaked beads. Returned second throw because it also leaked beads. I was Gvery disappointed. I liked the feel but leaking beads isn't what I expected.
