Customer reviews for Karcher Cordless Electric Mop & Sanitize Hard Floor Cleaner, Model FC 7 forGreat Vac!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the fact I can clean both wet and dry at the same time which saves me prep time. All I was using was a regulars mop and I can definitely tell the difference in not only fester cleaning time but ho much cleaner my floors are. It has a water tank that releases water in 2 cleaning modes, plus an addition boost mode. One thing that really impresses me is how well it picks up dog hair and my wife's hair. There are 4 rollers which rotate and they are all machine washable! I use this on both vinyl and hardwood, both get very clean. Love the fact it doesn't have a cord. The battery holds about a 45 minute charge which is more than enough to do my 2 floors. Overall this is a great vacuum/mop and I use it weekly.
Wow! What an impressive floor cleaner!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start of by saying that I used to hate mopping my floors! Not only did mopping take me forever but I always felt that my floors were also not 100% clean after cleaning with a standard mop. Kärcher FC 7 looks intimidating at first which is partially caused by the thick instruction manual. The machine comes almost fully assembled and all that needed to be done was to snap the top part of the handle into the bottom part of the machine. The machine is cordless and needs to be charged prior to use. The floor rollers are twisted into the machine and are color coded so you’ll know exactly where to place each roller. The included stand assures that the machine stays upright at all time while not in use. I love the storage compartment underneath the stand which also serves as a cleaning tray for the dirty parts. Kärcher FC 7 makes cleaning my floor a breeze! The machine glides effortless over my laminate and tile floor and is even easier to use than my regular vacuum cleaner. There is no need to vacuum my floor before or after mopping to pick up crumbs, hairs, or other dirt from the floor since this hard floor cleaner “vacuums” and mops at the same time. I only pick up larger items which could potentially damage the machine, such as paper clips, and the machine does the rest. You’ll be surprised how much dirt you’ll find in the dirty water compartment after each use! One of my favorite things about Kärcher FC 7 is that it is cordless and each charge lasts a long time. Cleaning my floors takes way less time than it used to and no longer feels like a chore. This is by far one of the best floor cleaners I have ever used!
Amazing and time saving!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tile floors with four dogs so cleaning the floor is a constant part of my life. What a life-saver this is! Instead of sweeping then mopping and all the time and mess that includes I simply do both at once with the F7! I love that it’s cordless and it does a great job of getting up the dirt and hair! Cleanup is a snap and this has truly given me more time in my day…priceless!!
Its so practical!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleaning is work and floors is always the last thing I do at night. Unfortunately by this time I’m exhausted so its my least favorite thing to clean. I would normally have to sweep the floors and then mop using two different mops one for the kitchen and the other for the rest of the house, so over an hour of housework. So I’m thrilled that this combo sweep/mop removes dirt in a single step. It takes me 1/2 the time or less to clean my floors. This has got to be the easiest and quickest floor cleaner combo that I have ever used. Its super easy to clean too, just throw the rolls in the wash and use the cleaning brush to remove dirt and hair from the bristles. Its such a breeze! I highly recommend it for busy parents!
Saves some scrubbing when mopping floors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been wanting something better to use on our hardwood floors and thought this might be good. Assembly was a bit confusing due to the lack of detailed instructions. Mostly it was pictures on the box and it took a bit of experience in putting things together to figure some of it out. One example was the cord in between the top and bottom had to go exactly in the channel and even then it was difficult to push together. The other confusing part was how to put on the 2 bottom pieces. The lack of detail on the pictures made it more challenging than it needed to be. The product actually works well although it does seem to let out more water than it needs to. Perhaps that's a setting that I need to adjust and I'll figure it out the more I use it. I like that it's lightweight and my teenage kids actually want to use it to clean the floors! We'll see how long that lasts! :)
Great floor cleaner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works quickly and very effectively. Easy to use, although quite a bit bulkier than your average mop. Not only does it scrub floors, but it also removes small particles like hair so you don't have to vacuum before using. Extremely helpful since our home is entirely hard floor surface.
Clean Floors!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mopping and vacuuming all in one, sign me up! I was a little skeptical before receiving the FC 7. It was a bit confusing putting it together and it took me a minute to get all of the pieces in the right place. There are instructions and videos that did help. It took me about 10-15 mins to get it all set up for cleaning. Once I started cleaning, I couldn’t stop. The FC 7 is so light and the fact that it’s cordless is amazing. My floors looked clean in minutes. It did a great job picking up the dirt and dust on the floor as well as mop cleaning. It’s very flexible and I was easily able to get it under my couch and hutch in the normally hard to reach places. The only reason I took off 1 star is bc the water reservoir is small and requires multiple trips to empty it. I also have cats, dogs, and kids. I prefer to vacuum prior to use unless I’m only cleaning a small area. Pros: great cleaning, light weight, easy to clean hard to reach places, leaves floor damp not too wet, rollers can be washed and reused. Cons: small reservoir not as good for large areas, a lot of pieces to deal with
Not going to lie...I was overwhelmed at first
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I opened the box to this, I was overwhelmed, to say the least! With the tank, the rollers, etc....I thought that it would be hard to assemble. Not so. It was actually pretty easy (I just used the QuickStart guide). I have mostly hardwood with some travertine in my kitchen. I also have a dog and two cats so...really...my house could use a vacuum and mop every day. This works pretty well. I, personally, still prefer a good vacuum followed by a mopping, but this does a really good job of getting my floors clean. My husband especially likes it because it knocks out two jobs in one! I can do my downstairs with no issues with the battery charge. I like that there's a display for when the dirty water tank gets full. Overall nice product.
Glides Across Floors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This FC 7 Cordless floor cleaner cleans dry floors as well wet floors with one unit. This saves using multiple cleaning tools whether it be a vacuum, broom or bucket and a mop. This unit does it all. It reaches many distances as it is cordless. Battery operated gives the freedom to go and clean spaces without feeling limited to a cord's distance. It has four rollers that glide easily and lets you clean quickly and effectively removing all dirt and debris. These rollers are also reusable as they are washable not throw away rollers. They pick up hair and the finest dust that settles in spaces we don't always see. This unit vacuums and mops all at once. It houses the clean fresh water and the dirty water using two different tanks so you're constantly using fresh clean water always until done with the task. It has a comfortable grip, reach and maneuverability. It does take some getting use to as it is a single unit that does the job in less time when I've been use to multiple cleaning tools to get the job done. I'm happy with the results and the freed up time I now have. The charge hold on this unit is up to 45 cleaning minutes before needing to recharge it. It cleans all kinds of bare floors from tile, to laminate to vinyl and when done it has a docking station to stand in and recharge so it can be ready to use the next time.
Great mop but could use better instructions
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a month ago and have used it a couple of times to mop my hardwood floors. It does a decent job in that you don't have to apply the elbow grease as with manual mops. The boost mode is a good plus as it helps work with more soiled areas too. And being cordless with good indicator for how much battery is left, makes it a really useful product. However only 1 thing I wish was better were the initial instructions to set it up. For a mop, it shouldn't be too difficult to set this up but there are a lot of moving parts in this and at times the instructions skip past the obvious things leaving it upto guesswork. One example is the part of connecting the waste container. The container has a lid, and essentially you both onto the mop. Initially I missed the lid part as the container itself clicks into the mop and the instructions don't talk about it at all. Another point is that the page in the booklet where it numbers each part, and the page where it talks about what those numbered parts are, should ideally be next to each other for easy understanding. You currently need to flip the page back and forth to correspond the numbers to the parts. A minor point but would make it more user friendly and easier to understand what's what. However once you get past these initial hurdles, it is a really good product.
