I'm very happy with the monitor until it died after 16 months. My old Samsung monitor is still working after 7 years. Sad!

Kind of want to rate it 3.5 stars because it just died out of nowhere and won't turn on , but was great while it was working 👌

This inexpensive monitor will most likely garner a Best Buy status. Sure , more powerful and stat heavy monitors are out there, but I haven't seen one better at this price, work this well, with a high end extremely fast Nvidia card.

I have never left a review but almost feel obligated to do so after this purchase. I had the monitor for several weeks and didn't realize there is a "software" type program that controls everything about the monitor from your pc (laptop in my case). It's called OnScreen Control. I didn't see any mention of it in the materials that were included in the box so I wanted to make sure others knew about it. It's really nice to have. As of this posting here is the latest version/the one I downloaded: Windows OnScreen Control - version 6.82 - I had a difficult time finding it but it is on the LG website.

Purchased 08/2020, died 11/2021. All of my appliances, most of my TVs, and other items are LG. Sorry to say, this monitors did not live up to the reputation of other LG products. I did purchase Sam's Club extended warranty, however I wish I could just get a refund.

Very disappointed in this monitor. I purchased it in August of 2020 and it died in August of 2023... almost three years to the day. This surprised me because I have two older 19" 4X3 LG monitors from 2007 and they're still fine; indeed, they were used just like this dead 27"monitor for 13yrs without issue (one has since been used little and the other not used at all for three years - until I needed something while my 27" LG monitor was repaired or replaced). I also had a 60" LG Plasma TV which recently died (March-ish) after 8-9yrs. You can see why I'd have high expectations from LG Products. Anyhow, I spoke to LG customer service twice; all trouble-shooting (with them and other) pointed to sending it in to be repaired. I received a quote from the second cs rep with whom I spoke; he actually didn't seem to understand much regarding tech but he did give me a quote for all shipping costs and repairs - $350. $350?! Dismissing my underwhelming opinion of the cs rep and this monitor, I was astounded at the total cost of a repair... I didn't even pay that much for a brand-new one! Needless to say, with this failed monitor, the CS experience and now a failed TV, I won't be purchasing ANYTHING LG hence (i,e, monitor, TV, etc). Seeing how many others have similar experiences, I think it's the prudent response.
