First time sleeping on the new mattress. I thought it would be more firm than it is. The same mattress in the store seemed to be a bit more firm. I experienced a very restful sleep and woke up without the usual aches and pains that I had from my ten year old Sealy mattress. I like that it is a much thicker mattress than my previous mattress so I'm hoping it holds up much better and the side doesn't crush down from sitting on the side of the bed as my old mattress did. Only time will tell. The only thing that I don't like at this point is the cost of the mattress. The price was a deterrent until S&F offered a nice discount. I 'm hoping that the old saying, "you get what you pay for", holds true for my new mattress.

I have a bad back and it was the perfect with me getting a good night's sleep, the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel that is a little smaller than our last queen but not only do I sleep very good on it, my back does not hurt when I wake up.

Definitely firm, I was concerned it would be too firm But it hasnt been. It's cooler Than my old pillow top but I'm sure that has something to Do with the inter workings of the bed. I had spine surgery a year ago and I bought another brand mattress just before surgery. It was messing up my spine. I thought I was stuck with it but I went to the store where I bought it and the salesman recommended making a warranty claim. I did and I was approved. I almost bought another brand which looked like it could be a problem. The salesman told me that another store had Stearns & Foster. I am so glad that I checked it out and I ended up buying the Estate Lux UF. At first I thought it was too firm but each day got a little better. It just needs a little time to get broken in. I will be buying Stearns & Foster from now on. The quality and craftsmanship are the best.

As advertised. Very comfortable. First new mattress in 30 years, and what a difference. Quality in workmanship is self evident and the comfort it provides is amazing. The registration process was clear and easy to manage. All around a great experience with this bed. Sales personnel were easy to work with, and no pressure what so ever. Very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions prior to purchase.

When I say this mattress is soft and firm to my body I'm in love it great quality and value I highly recommend this mattress to family and friends it sits up high for me just the way I like it and when my husband sits on the bed you can't tell that I'm very satisfied with this mattress

I swapped out my new Sealy for this mattress during a sleep trial because I felt the Sealy was too warm. I made a huge mistake because this is the hottest mattress I've ever owned and now I'm stuck with it. I was told by the sales rep it would be cooler and it is probably 15 degrees warmer. Also I use it on an adjustable base and the pillow top squishes together creating lumps everywhere. The absolute worse.

This mattress is both supportive and soft. I was skeptical because it is not a pillow top, but it was exactly what I needed. I have also been very impressed with how cool we feel while we are sleeping, no more sweaty nights!

Even though it is supposed to be "firm", the pillow top makes it more difficult to move around on and get off of the mattress. Apparently, just lying on it in the store doesn't provide a good feel for the mattress in daily use. In hind-sight, I believe I should not have chosen the pillow top style. Considering the cost, I would rethink the whole process.
