This actually kept my 2.5 year olds head above the water and allowed her to swim/float without me having to hold her. She loves it!!

This is a great life jacket for little ones. fits great, stays on well and keeps them afloat. No bulk like the other toddler jackets.

I have a 2yo and 4 yo. They love them. We had one without the shoulder straps but these seem more comfortable and easier to swim in.

Definitely not for my kid size. his weight 44pd this did not fit around his torso. Oh well gave to a kid who could use it.
