I have been a big fan of the original KO 1's. I would easily get 30,000+ miles out of a set. I purchased a set of the KO 2's and they are almost worn down to failing inspection. They did great in the snow, ice and mud. However, I only have about 15,000 miles on them. The tread life on the KO 2's are horrible compared to the originals. I rotate, drive reasonably easy, and stay mainly on the pavement. My vehicle is not a heavy one. I have several friends reporting to me the same thing. If you expected decent miles out of the KO 2's ,similar to the originals, you will be disappointed. Hey BF Goodrich, bring back the originals!

I first encountered the KO fitted new to a 1989 Nissan Safari 4x4 fresh off the boat as a used Japanese import in 1999. 290,000 km later I am on my 3rd set of KOs. Also I am running them on my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have never been stuck in mud or snow and have only ever had one puncture. The wear is amazing, 80 to 100,000 km from new down to 3mm tread depth. I find them a quiet running tyre but they do get a bit noisy when the tread wears down below 5-6mm. In short, I love 'em! I can't justify using Mud Terrains because I seldom require anything that aggressive. I'm just a bit annoyed that I can't get a set of KOs in 225-60R18 for my wife's 2011 Suzuki Grand Vitara. Operating conditions: Safari: 265-75R16 on 8" rims. (Australian Spec)* Jeep: 255-70R16 on standard rims (Standard Spec) * Note: Australian spec actually specifies 265-70 section. I have these on two trucks. My daily driver (2007 Expedition EL) has had them on for 4, going on 5 years now. After 65K miles they still have 7/32" tread left. That being said I did notice the wet/ snow traction is not not nearly as good this winter, but what do you expect, I have over 65K miles on them! I never expect a truck tire to go past 40k miles so I am extremely happy. Road noise is minimal, I have rotated every 4-8,000 miles and no abnormal wear or cupping. I'm planning to buy a new truck and will take whatever it has off right away and put a set of these on it!

I have 55k on my original set of KO2's and have been very pleased with their performance and wear. I live on a gravel road and have them rotated every 5k on my Jeep Rubicon and they have lasted longer than any other tires I've had on other vehicles. Am currently experiencing a slow leak on 1 tire, happens to be the one that is worn the most, so once a week I'm topping it off. Going to purchase another 4 and hope for the same good luck as I've had with these.

I had the previous version of BFG All Terrains in 295/75r16 on my Excursion and loved where they could get me in the snow, sand and mud in the Sierras and local mountains. I admit I waited too long to get the new tires, but finally upsizing again now to 315/70r17 in the new version was a great decision. They are way quieter and are so smooth on the road. My only regret is that I didn't get them quite a while ago just for the improved performance. They look way better than the previous version also.

BFG has done it again. This tire is simply amazing. I recently purchased a new set of BFG A/T K/O 2's to replace my original set of BFG A/T that I've had for the last 7 years (lasted about 80k to 85k miles) The K/O 2's are simply amazing; extremely quiet and nimble for an all terrain tire. Much better than the previous BFG A/T K/O's - which was a great tire in its own. PROs: Quiet, Smooth ride, Handling, Aggressive Looks Cons: Cost... but if these tires last as long as my last set then they are well worth it!!!

Ive taken it to the shop that I got that is an actual bf goodrich dealer and apparently it just never is going to balance. They still have life, yet shake like no other. i took this off and put stock tires and the truck didnt shake one bit. I am extremely dissappointed that i can spend almost 2k on tires and have this issue not even half way through. THey have road force and balanced them multiple times. mY toyos never had this issue both sets I ran so I dont understand whats happenening here.

May 13, 2024, is the date I purchased these tires. Less than 4 months later, one of the tires spontaneously shredded while we were driving. There was no road hazard that caused this. Had it not been for a kind soul who saw the family walking along the highway and offered not just a ride but help changing out the tire, it would have been a much harder day. I will think twice before purchasing another BF Goodrich product, and I will not be recommending them to anyone.

I drove a 2000 Jeep Wrangler for 17 years. After the stock tires wore out I went through 2 sets of KOs. Loved every mile of cement and dirt road. A couple years ago switched over to a Toyota Tacoma (85% city, 15% off-road), just put the newly designed KOs on with Bilstein 5100 Shocks, now, best ride I have experienced. Amazing quality and feel, worth the money.

Loved these tires until now. I am finishing my 4th set of these tires, or 3 sets of KOs and 1st of KO2s. I absolutely loved the KOs. Not one single thing to complain about. Averaged 50k miles on all 3 sets. Was so happy that for the 4th set I went with the "improved" KO2s. I am now through this set and have only 27k miles on them. Great tires, just like the KOs, but mileage is no where close to what it used to be.
