Thought I found a great tire to replace stock on 2006 GMC Sierra crew 4x4 diesel. I enjoy music so hoped they would be quieter, nope. Got louder as they wore. Near done at 27k mi. Hoped for 40- 50k, nope. Bought for traction- mud and snow, nope. Couldn't get up a long driveway in Idaho towing a loaded trailer, and didn't handle well on a couple backpack trips, so moving on. Sorry BFG.

I installed these on my 2005 Ford F150 a little over a year ago, and I LOVE these tires. They ride like a dream, handle like a sports car tire with hardly any noise. I rotate mine at EVERY oil change which is around 3,000 miles and they still look brand new. My truck rides better than my wife's car and the off road traction is amazing. Well, I've done some 30k on my 1st set of KO2 and compared to previous Duratracs they have some great advantages. On my Nissan Pathfinder I drive 95% on paved roads, the rest as weekend off-road warrior. KO2s have really exceptionally good sidewalls, resistant to puncture, wear and tear, you can beat them on sharp edges, accidentally drive on sidewalk, no damage on them. I've punctured Duratracs many times, had problems to balance them out, while with TA KO2s I've never touched them since I've put them on. They are silent on road, really, and they grab excellent on dry pavement and gravel roads. BUT they have disadvantages, like we all do. On first rain you need to double or even better, triple your safety distance, as they simply will not stop the vehicle when you want it to. Cornering on wet also barrely can be called cornering, as it is more straight line, same on first few inches of snow (on pavement). Try being a hero and attack a slippery grass, covered with an inch of snow, and you'll end up looking for rescue vehicle. They are like slicks there. Duratracs under same conditions dig into surface and pull you out, leaving battle scars on the snowy fields, but they do move the vehicle, whil KO2's are not so good at this. Will probably buy again,mostly due to SECURITY they offer due to really strong 10-ply sidewals.

Just had installed and force balanced on my Silverado. Annoying vibration gone , slight shutter gone. Road noise ..gone. These tires look terrific on my Silverado with 6.5 lift. Very happy with the purchase outstanding tread design. These are the gold standard that others try to set their marks too. 10 stars

Bought the 285's for my 2010 Tahoe, which is a little larger than the spec tires, but these filled the tire well and looked great. I balanced and rotated every 5,000 miles. The tires lasted for 102,000 miles. Just bought another set last month and hope to get 100,000 miles on these. Had many people come up and asked about them, they really liked the look.

I have had three sets of the old BFG AT KO. On and 94 Jeep, 02 Tahoe and 01 F150. They were all great tires with good traction in Montana's seasons. My 01 F150 does a lot of time hunting in the mountains, crossing creeks and plenty of snow and gravel. I've had two flats in 15 years running AT KO tires and they came on my 01 with over 50K on that set. When in came time to put new tires on my (wifes) 2011 F150, I chose the K02 to replace the factory tires. My wife loves the compliments on the aggressive look. The new KO2s are better than the old ones in almost every way and I immediately replaced the tired and worn KOs on my 01 with the KO2. I have been equally impressed. Great traction, quiet, better ride quality. My only complaint is that they are rock throwers where I don't recall the old ones throwing rocks. Not a big deal. I also can't comment on the tread life as they are fairly new. On my 11 F150 the gas mileage did decrease some over the factory tires. But the factory tires were garbage and I pull a 28' Travel Trailer with this pickup and I am willing to give up a couple mpgs for the benefits of the KO2.

I only have 20 thousand miles on the tires and they are wore out I have a 2016 f250 I had my tire dealer check my truck out and there is no issue with my truck .Bf goodrich will only give me 43 percent rebate on the tire not acceptable .I won't even bother putting a nother set on I'll pay full price for a better tires

I couldn't afford to buy the new BFG Ko2 tires. I bought them from someone who had used them for about 100,000 miles. I used them for the last 2 years, mainly off-road in search of farms up way in the mountains. Most of the roads in the mountains of Romania are not paved: stone and mud ! I can't believe the tires are so durable. The profiles are still very good: 10 mm I was looking for buting new tires but yet, are expencive . Nevertheless, the price is worth off

I put a set of All Terrain T/A KO2’s on my 2013 Chevy Avalanche LTZ a little over 3 years ago. I know the tread warranty says, “50,000 miles”, but if you maintain alignment and rotation (5,000 miles), you can get a lot more than this. I know, because I currently have 62,000 miles on my set and still have about another 1,000 more I change these out. They are a great tire for mud, snow and just highway. I not only drive my truck to work, but I also hunt and fish in it. An example of this was last year and it snowed 12” and I went hunting in it. The roads that I traveled to my hunting spot isn’t state maintained roads, and didn’t get plowed. I never had an issue getting to or returning from my hunting spots. My last comment that I have is, “if you buy a set, you’ll be hooked for life”. I know this, because I have owned BFG’s for the last 15 years.

The tires look great should have the best reviews for the money you spend. But the truth is the wear is terrible. They do not wear evenly and the inside of the tire is not the same depth as the outside. Rotations don't help and I am disappointed in my purchase.
