I go to White Castle everyday for a couple cups of coffee and use these because it is an instant 20 percent discount. I purchase these in store. I have purchased them online before and have not had sales tax charged. They were a better deal a long time ago online as they were $35 for a 50 gift card.

the other reviewer is correct. You shouldn't be charging tax on gift cards because the gift card could go unused so the tax should be collected at whatever locale that it's used at cuz that's where it benefits the local tax base and is the correct collection. Double taxation! first taxing me when I purchase and then taxes are collected when the person I give it to goes to use it. WRONG!

Taxes should not be on gift cards. This is illegal!!! You are getting taxed on the gift card and the the tax when you get the food. I've called and told customer service about this and they don't seem to care.

One of the 2 cards didn't work. Sam's in store customer service said it wasn't their problem and to call White Castle customer service. Called White Castle and they said to go back to Sam's. We have completely lost out on one card.
