We didn't like this taco seasoning

I was expecting a bold spicy taco seasoning when I bought this. I made just regular taco meat using this, and it has a BBQ taste to it. I was kinda disappointed, it isn’t spicy, but the taste isn’t bad either. It’s different, don’t expect a normal taco taste. It’s good, but like I said. It wasn’t what I was expecting.

This was two days late, but not at all the fault of Sams Club so it doesn't factor into my rating, I was just really excited to use this almost five star seasoning. Not entirely sure how this has such high marks, but what we had tastes *nothing* like a taco seasoning. It tastes very much like a smoked pork rub.... which is fine if I was smoking pork. Absolutely disappointed in this product. Even my DH, who has a deeper appreciation for many flavors, disliked this. Had to purchase two since I bought online... but they are most definitely getting returned. I have never returned open products just because I don't like them, but considering this isn't even close to "taco" I will. First for everything. At least its MSG free, which is why I bought it in the first place. Going back to DIY taco seasoning.... at least it tastes like the name suggests.
