I’m guessing the other reviewers did something wrong. We wrapped ours around the palm trees in the back yard, turned on the settings to stay on (so they’re not blinking) and have had no problems.

Great lights to use when the sun's energy is better then have to frequently changing our batteries.

Not very bright

I just ordered the multi-color set due to not seeing the two options for style. Like the other member noted "untangle them", if you do not, only half will illuminate. I expect these to do well just as all the other solar LEDs I have purchased at Sam's. The strings I have just received work as expected, on all night, and then off automatically at sunrise. There seem to be two way to unravel, stretch them all the way out, or leave (zip-tie) the random length pig-tail that develops as you unwind the string of LEDs. Leaving the pig-tails gives the LED string an icicle appearance with a single LED at the end of the wire. Enjoy!
