Half of the time my phone can be on top of the air tag and it will say can not find. It works when it wants to work. Figured since it was a Apple product it would be good. I was wrong. And when it does work if I go more then 10 feet from it. It will not work

If you live where there is not much cell phone use, wifi, Bluetooth etc. this thing is useless. It will not track in real time where you object is at all if you live outside a city. I wanted to track my dogs and it doesn't work. One got lost and it did not help us find her. The AirTag said she was still at the house.

It would not track my child after she left the yard it goes to 30 feet that's it! I payed a high price for something that can't even track my keys  do not buy!!

Don't let the product mislead you

This Apple AirTag uses Bluetooth to link it to your phone. Then you use the “Find My…” app to track the location of the item you placed it in. You can use it with a specially designed keychain if you lose your keys quite often. When you travel it's a good idea to place one in each piece of luggage, backpack and C Pap. This provides you with each item's exact location. It will tell you how close or far it is from you. The app will provide its location on a map. These are extremely handy and so easy to set up. Simply pull out a tab which then activates it, so you are assured that the battery has not been engaged prior to using. If you still can't decide, just buy one to start. You'll wonder why you haven't used these sooner!6”
