I bought a single tag to test it out. After much consideration, I wouldn't buy another. My main purpose was to place them on various items for theft insurance. (Bike stores outside, valuables, etc) However, everyone that seems to walk by the tags with their phone seem to get an alert. Especially if you have an Apple phone, it tries to connect, or notifies you. Android as well. I was very displeased by this as a consumer I'm alerting someone with a phone that there is a tagged item nearby. The whole point of the tag is discretion and to let the “owner” know where the items current location is. I'd like to note, these tags do not allow for tracking history, only current location. Which I was aware of prior. But if I had the option now, I'd subscribe to a service that allows history tracking for a different gps device because this tag is useless in my opinion .

1. This is basically a disc similar to a large button. You can drop it into a pocket, purse, drawer etc or mount it with double sided tape but beyond that you will probably need a device to attach it to something else, in my case to a dog collar. 2. Commercials show you following a big arrow to find it. This requires IOS 11 I believe. Otherwise you see a map with a symbol on it. Not very accurate while in the same room with it, it was showing it as being about 300 yds away. This is a pretty large area to have to search for something small but better than nothing. 3. From what I understand, and I may be wrong, if this gets stolen it notifies people nearby that they may be being tracked potentially alerting the thief to search for the tracker. There are videos online to show how to disable this feature but it requires taking it apart and may potentially damage it and will definitely void any kind of warranty.

For those out there like me that thought this tracked every move (IT DOESNT) not without your iPhone with you. I bought 2 of these to put on my cats that are indoor outdoor and I wanted to see where they go everyday. It was a big disappointment to see these are not GPS at all.

For $25 it's an okay tracker to use if you lose your keys in your house. But if you lose anything further than a few feet away from you you're out of luck. I got this for my cat that likes to go outside and although he doesn't wander no more than a mile from home, the second he leaves the front door the AirTag stops tracking.

I put one in each piece of luggage when I travel and I always know where my luggage is! I actually bought a quality case for it and I hid it in the lining of my cases. I also keep an AirTag in my wallet. If my wallet moves an inch, I get a notification.

I put one inside my daughters backpack because she's a little too young for a phone, but old enough to wander. I intended on using it to keep track of when she's on the school bus, but it doesn't update fast enough. I've seen it not update its location for up to 6 hours. So for whatever use you plan on getting this item for, rethink how fast you need to know where said item is.

I had a fancy idea to try and use this to track my sons school bus by putting it in his backpack.. he doesn't have a phone yet (3rd grade) but I figured someone would have a phone on the bus for it to ping off of… low an behold it isn't 100% but it will show where they are when it had a phone in range. About 50% reliable

A true apple product! Easy to set up, keep in mind, the tracking works based on how it pings off of other Apple devices that have Bluetooth enabled. If you've lost the tag deep in the woods, your best bet is to walk or ride around until it pings your own device.
