[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 13 yr old Border Collie that we keep her coat trimmed down to about 2-3 inches. She is a 50 lb dog so she is not small. It has always been a challenge to bathe her as she is not fond of water at all. We have always used a couple of buckets of warm water to accomplish this with mostly limited fuss from her. When we saw this it looked like the answer to the tedious task of bathing the dog. We were anxious to give this a try, so, we trimmed her fur and the next day we gave her a bath using this machine. She is not bothered by the vacuum so we had no issue with the noise. She was not fond of the effect of the vacuum on her though, but did not protest too much. We spent about 45 minutes trying to get her wet to her skin, without success. She did get wet about half way through her fur. The vacuum did pick up some of the water, however it kept getting clogged by he loose fur. It never did pick up near as much as was used. Our final opinion is that this may be OK to use in the winter when you cannot get outdoors to bathe your dog, or if you have a small dog with a not so thick coat, it will be acceptable as an alternative to the bath tub. If you have a medium to large dog or a dog with a thick coat you may find that this is not a viable way to wash your dog. I found it to be time consuming to prep to wash my dog and then had the clean up afterwards. I can wash, rinse and mostly dry my dog in half the time it took to use this machine. I would not recommend it except for maybe a small dog with limited fur.

This is a great product. I used it on both of my German Shepherd dogs and it worked great. Minimal mess, easy to assemble and clean!!

I ordered the BarkBath because I have difficulty lifting and giving our dog a traditional bath. It has been a great help and is easy to use.
