[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a cocker spaniel. We let her hair grow a little longer during winter months. I was skeptical that it would actually clean her very well. I was pleasantly surprised that it did a good job. I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like that the Barkbath is able to sort the clean water from the dirty water, and that it isn't as much of a mess as using a tub. However, I feel like this product is more of maintenance between washes. So if you have a really dirty dog that is normally outside, and wanting to put it in because of the hot months, then this may not be the best product to use for the first really good wash if that makes sense. In my case, I bring my dog inside in the summer, and she hadn't had a good wash in several months, and the BarkBath didn't really clean the dirt off very well. However, I do think that it will be good for in between washes. Some reviews stated that the BarkBath is a little loud, I do agree however it was not a problem for me or my dog. Another thing that was a little weird was that the water container already had a lot of water drops in it when I first opened it. It may have been from moisture, but I wasn't sure if maybe it was tested before it was sent. All in all, I think it's a great concept especially for dogs who are already somewhat clean.

Both of my dogs are over 100lbs each and always knock me out of the shower when i am bathing them. This was the first time that i didnt have to fight with them to get them clean. I loved it so much, and they looked and smelled so amazing that I shared my experience on my own personal facebook page. My cousins wife asked to borrow it to see if she liked it before making that purchase and after using it and getting great results.. she has ordered one! 10/10 i would and AM recommending this product to all of my friends, family, and anyone who will listen. (And i only used a half bottle of the shampoo between both of my dogs and her large dog)

I am very pleased with the system and ease of use. It is a quality system and well thought out . It does take two people if you do not have a way to secure your dog while bathing. My dog was not afraid of the noise and really seemed to enjoy the experience. I will now be able to bath her inside once a month. I will be able to recoup the money spent on the system in no time and will not have the hassle of taking and picking her up from the groomer. Thank you Bissell!

The machine would be great for the body of the dogs, but there was no good way to clean their legs off with this. Love the concept, but this just isn't quite there for the execution part.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I seen this and got it for a great deal, my Pitbull isn't exactly fond of baths, but this product made bathing Pop super easy and best of all it didn't use the 2 full tubs of water I am used to wasting! It is a bit drippy though, but I am a fan and still a loyal Bissell Buyer! #sweepstakes

We have two long-haired (double-coated) dogs that are plagued with fleas and terrified of baths, but not, oddly, vacuums. I thought this was going to be the answer to our prayers, but it is not quite strong enough to contend with the long hair, even with the adjustments to the equipment required for long-haired dogs it wasn't sufficient to do more than wet their coats. Although this is certainly adequate to drown fleas, it isn't enough to get them clean. I love the way it was designed to make it possible for the vacuum part to be as far from a skittish dog as possible, but it isn't up to the challenge of a long-haired breed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the spark bath for my two dogs one is a blue heeler mix and the other a Chocolate lab mix. The park bath took considerably longer time to wash both dogs then I would if I were just to bath them in the normal fashion. I can see this being for someone who is living in an apartment with a small dog but not a larger dog like I have.

We've used the barkbath once and here's what we came away with: -It's not effective getting into the "hard to reach" places -The vacuum picks up excess water in her "dripping wet coat", but doesn't get much drier despite going over several times after it stopped picking up water -It was more work for us using this machine than bathing her in the shower -Used a lot of shampoo, but on the plus side the shampoo is really good product We are still on the learning curve, but our first try wasn't that impressive, machine is noisy, labor intensive, and not very effective on our long haired dog.
