[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Hidden Valley Ranch Night Seasoning Mix - Buttermilk Chicken on some bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs and they turned out fairly well. tossing the chicken with the oil and seasoning mix was a bit messy though and the seasoning mix clumped together instead of sticking to the chicken. I think I might rub oil onto the chicken first and then just sprinkle the seasoning over it to keep it from forming sticky clumps. My husband liked it, although he did say it did leave an odd aftertaste. Neither of my kids liked it at all. I might try it again on a whole chicken and see how that turns out.

I love the zing of the ranch and it really gave our tacos the something extra it needed. It's not over powering at all and the ranch flavor really compliments the taco seasoning.
