This extra virgin olive oil is incredible! First off, it's 100% from Italy and not from multiple countries - when olive oil is sourced from multiple countries, you never know what you are getting - make sure it's just from one country! This oil has incredible flavor. My family is European, so we go through LOTS of it, and this is some of the best around! Convenient 1 litre bottle makes for easy handling as well. I just hope Sam's keeps this product around - it's been clearance priced lately, so I worry it will be discontinued. Stocking up on it while I can!

For the money, this is a nice option for cooking and dressings. I find that it has enough "ooomph" for a dressing but is priced in a way that I don't mind using it for cooking, too. I would say this is nicely balanced -- has that peppery bite of a fresh oil but no so much that it's pungent.

We used to buy the Member's Mark extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) in the large plastic containers but found out that glass is better at protecting the quality of the product so we tried this and like it.
