We actually got this for our daughter. She's not a fan of girly styles & we thought this would be perfect. The material is a durable soft wind & water resistant fabric that is lined with warm sherpa to keep her cozy, warm & dry. It has a faux fur hood that's removable for washing & it's machine washable which is very convenient. It has full zipper closure for added warmth. It's made with plenty of pockets, some dual entry & some inside pockets to make sure she doesn't loose her belongings. Overall a great winter coat that's made to last.

I got this coat for my son. His favorite color is red so this was perfect! He got to wear ot for the first time and said it was comfy and super warm. He was excited about the fur around the hood. Quality seems to be really good and it is very affordable.

I love the classic look of this parka and that the hood is easily removable. This jacket is also light/medium weight and wind proof for wearing comfort. The back is slightly longer at the bottom and has a nice V-notch to help movement during play. The zippers are made of sturdy plastic so should last a long time. There is attention to detail on this parka - a zipper pull cover at the top of the neckline, a cover to hide the hood attachment zipper, Velcro attachment on the top of the inside pocket, stretch fabric cuff liners on sleeves, and a reflective zipper pull fabric tie. The inside liner, inside pocket, outside top pocket, and hood are lined with warm fleece. The large outside pockets are lined with a water resistant fabric so would be better for storing wet gloves. Seems to run true to size and is not too small. Parka measures 26” from back neckline to bottom of V-notch, 23” from top front neckline to bottom of jacket, 17” across chest under arms, and 15.5” underarm length to end of fabric cuff liner. This parka is machine washable so perfect for active kids who love to play outside in any condition. Great jacket for the price!

My 1st grader loves this jacket. Its thick and warm with a water resistant fabric on the outside and soft fabric on the inside. The hood can come off with a zipper. Also, a favorite of my kid is the pockets. there are two large outside pockets with a button and a chest zipper pocket. There is a single inside pocket aswell which is attached with velcro. The sleeves have elastic on the end to help keep snow out and gloves tucket in. The front zipper has a snap button overlay that really helps seal out any winter wind.

This coat was bought for my grandson & he loves it. The detachable hood is helpful because his elementary school doesn't allowed clothes with hoods & he can wear it there & add the hood for other occasions. It's roomy & warm without being stuffy. We experienced the same cold snap that other states had in Jan, & this coat was perfect. It was also a great price compared with similar coats from other stores.

My grandson lost his coat and its cold outside, I bought this coat and Sam's and its really nice, and warm it has a warm lining and a hood with fur. Best of all it has a patch to write his name on so it doesn't get lost. For the quality and the price this coat is a GREAT DEAL! thanks Sams.

With how crazy the weather has been in the Midwest my kid has already started wearing his parka some days. We haven't had any freezing temps but, he likes the ways it feels, especially the good. He is rough on his outerwear so we will see how long it lasts

Love this Member's Mark hooded parka jacket. This is such a pretty and warm jacket that looks like it would be too bulky but it is not. It has hand pockets a phone pocket and an inside pocket. The hood is also lined with faux fur and is removable. Machine washable on cold and dry low. Made from 100% recycled polyester.

This is a great value coat that keeps my kid warm on freezing days as we are moving into fall. Where we live we get a vast different level of weather including a lot of cold wind and it does a fair job of blocking the wind as well, however I am not sure it allows sweat to really move through (breathability) the coat as fancier (granted much costlier coats and jackets) would. I did a quick search and comparable parkas seem to be 20-30% higher in cost than Sam's and appear of similar quality. The quality seems pretty good for the cost and I would expect my rough and tumble son (age 10) should be able to wear this and it put up with a fair amount abuse. Sleeve might be a little long compared to the rest of the coat, but my son liked that because he hates keeping track of gloves and likes putting his hands inside the sleeve. I believe this is fairly water resistant however not waterproof by any measure. I did see that this item was made in China if that matters to you. I would recommend this parka as a great value, however it is not going to be an item that is comparable to high end jackets.

I bought this coat for my 8 year old son. He loves it! Wonderful coat overall. If there's one thing I would have to complain about, it's that the stitching around the pockets could be better and more secure. Other than that, it is a good coat for a great price. Every where else I looked was charging $60 or better for a parka like this. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend!
