Had this base only a year and the main tube that connects to base rusted out!!!

Although this 60-pound umbrella stand is stocked on the sales floor together with the cafe table and cafe chairs, it's way too big for that set and doesn't fit. I learned the hard way.

Too big

The poles that screw in were deformed or sliced so that you could t connect the pieces together. So far I’ve had one replaced by Sam’s and the other by the company (I requested just the tubes/poles that were damaged) and I got 2 more sets of damaged ones, even worse than the first! Damaged before being wrapped and shipped. Hoping the 3rd replacement is functional!

The stand works great. I did notice that the axles for the wheel and the tubing that the umbrella sits into could be prone to rust. What I did was, I coated them with plenty of heavy duty grease. Living in Florida near the beach. It probably wouldn't last that long unless I did this preventative measure very simple to do and I think it's gonna make the stand last much longer.
