I needed a sturdy stand for my huge umbrella. This is a quality heavy stand.

Absolutely amazing and well worth the money. Our patio is very windy but this has withstood all the wind in the past two weeks since we have purchased. Did not realize it had wheels which is even better.

I bought this base 3 years ago ago. It is always loose, I have to tighten it all the time. And now the pole to the base tat hold the umbrella got rusted and broke. I am very disappointed. I do not recommend because it is not durable.

Heavy umbrella stand, takes a lot of strong wind to rip over. However, after almost 2 years, returning because the pole snapped off in the stand. The threaded part is very thin and rusted to the point of breaking.

I have purchased one of these bases every year for 4-5 years. The base is very heavy and appears durable and moves well on its wheels. BUT, they have only lased me a year before the metal rusts out and breaks off where the pole screws into the base. I live in AZ and when we have lots of wind, they occasionally blow into my pool - even when closed up and secured. It would be helpful to be able to purchase the rusted out pole, instead of having to purchase a total new base. They are out of stock presently.

nice compact heavy base, small enough that your feet aren't interfering when sitting at table, excellent packaging for shipping, shipping weight 60 lbs , has coarse threads for screwing base tube into base, ( will not loosing in wind). Has 2 part tube holder for ease of mounting though table guides under table. very, very happy with this base

We have three different bases around our pool. By far, this is the best of them. I highly recommend it. It wheels fantastically holds a solitaire umbrella(no table) and is solid build. The shaft at the base extends 6-8” higher than our other two. It rolls well. Moveable around your deck. Absolutely love it.

I purchased this umbrella stand last year. Looks very sleek and is heavy for its size. Said that, there is a problem because it will fall with the umbrella on windy days. I am not talking about hurricane winds. I am talking about of a 20 mile an hour wind. No my umbrella broke with the fall. The cover of the umbrella handle that hides the guts inside shattered to pieces. Is Sam's providing me with a new umbrella? I think not. Now, I need a new umbrella as well as a replacement base even though the base looks like new. The base needs to be wide. The base that I replaced with this base lasted over 10 years. I replaced that base because it rusted and was coming apart. However, even in 50 mile an hour winds never fall. I hope this helps someone else in making a decision on this stand. Is not worth it if you need to replace the stand later and the umbrella.
