When I first got this vacuum I loved it.. now (less than a year later) it doesn't charge and stays on the second charging light no matter how long it's on the charger for. When I try to use it, it only lasts for about 5-10 seconds before it dies. When it “dies” and I put it back on the charger it goes straight to the second charging light as if it's not fully dead. I want a refund and I DO NOT recommend this product.

I bought this item based on all the great reviews and videos I seen in it, but it isn't as good as they say. The self emptying feature doesn't always work, and the latch gets stuck open on the vacuum itself. The battery life is horrible. It lasts maybe 30 mins at a full charge. The suction on the detachable vacuum is also horrible. I do not recommend.

Treated myself to a birthday gift as we were finishing our home renovations and needed a second vacuum for upstairs. Thought this was the answer to all my needs. It was not. Issues I have had, the canister fills really fast, if you have sand the unit clogs and you have to completely disassemble it to clean the sand out, pet hair often clogs the flap that leads to the disposal canister and the pipe is also known to clog. The icing on the cake is that the hinge that allows you to manually dump the handheld broke (it is just plastic) and this is considered a ware and tare part so it is not covered under the warranty. High hopes for this unit, paid way too much for the disappointment I got.

As a brand loyal Shark owner, I really wanted to buy this as my cordless option. Ignoring the promo reviews, the real unbiased reviewers have nothing good to say about the basics provided by the product, suction and usability. I'm totally bummed. The self-emptying base would have been an awesome deterrent towards not kicking in my allergies except once a month for bin emptying. ☹️

My husband got this vacuum for me as a Mother's Day Gift we thought it would be everything we needed in a vacuum. We have two kids and two dogs so not having a core seemed fantastic. This vacuum is not family friendly. It has horrible suction. This vacuum can not handle any kind of mess. It fills up quickly it dies quickly. I constantly having to clean it out. The self emptying feature NEVER works I mean NEVER! I have had several Shark vacuums and have love them all. This one not so much. I hate that we didn't realize how poorly this vacuum performed until after our return date.

I absolutely hate this vacuum. I bought it to replace one of my other Shark cordless stick vacuums and was sold on the self-emptying function. This has the tiniest compartment I've seen on a stick vac and constantly clogs up. I feel like the majority of stuff I try to pick up is just blown all over the floor. I'm constantly having to go over and over the same area again and again. I expected much better performance especially for such an expensive product. Very unhappy with this purchase.

I agree with Taylor's post. Do not buy this vacuum. After a minute nth the exact same thing happened to me and it stopped picking up as good. I absolutely hate this vacuum. We bought the shark vacuum/mop vacuum and it is the worst too. We are totally unhappy with our purchase.

I gave this 2 stars because of the convenience factor, it's cordless and has a self empty feature. I have had this vacuum for 3 months and it no longer empties itself (the little door doesn't open when you dock it), it has the worst suction (it can't even pick up cereal of the wood floors). I just walk around pushing the dirt around with it, only to have to sweep when I'm done. Charge lasts about 7minutes enough to do once floor of my house if that. And the cherry on top- it clogs ALL THE TIME. I have to take it apart find the clog and find a way to clean it out way more than I should for this price point. This is the second shark vacuum that I've had issues with, they made it so difficult to get any assistance with the first one that it's still sitting in a box and doesn't work, I don't know why I wasted my money again but hopefully this review saves someone else the trouble!

This is a great cordless compact vacuum. Only problem is that I bought it for a senile citizen and he had trouble placing it correctly on the charger/evacuator. An improvement may be if you don't have to be so exact on sliding the vacuum onto the charger/evacuator.

Does not stay charged. Brand new out of the box, charged 24 hours per instructions. Managed to vac an 8x10 area rug without any pile! Vac died. Back to the charger. Can only get it to charge to 2 lights, runs 30 seconds - a minute and is dead again! Total rip off! Shark needs to go back to the drawing board on this thing. Their products are not what they were a few years ago!
