[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Shark Wandvac Cordless Self-Empty System a few day ago and it is really awesome. The first thing I like is how easy it is to set it up, in 5 mn it is ready to go. The notice is clear and effective. Cordless is the best feature!!! It is so annoying to have to deploy the cord and find a power outlet, then change the power outlet because the cord is too short. I also like the modularity, you can adapt the cleaner to all you uses, long hand, short hand etc... In term of vacuum power, it can be small but it is very efficient, it is very surprising in a good way. Another good point is that it is light weight, it is easy to transport, carry etc.. The cherry on the cake is that you do not have to empty the dust basket the vacuum does it for you!!! There is a nice feature to enable or not the automatic emptying. The last but not the least, it fit in a very little space, it is very appreciable to leave it in a room corner and use it when needed. In conclusion, if you are looking for a cordless vacuum cleaner, do not hesitate, this model will fit all your needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love some of the features on the Shark Wandvac, like the self-emptying system, it's cordless and has it's own charging station and it comes with attachments. It also looks great. I thought the handle was a little too tall for me and that made it uncomfortable to use for more than a few minutes but I am short. (5 ft.) It didn't work on the floors very well because it didn't have enough suction but it vacuumed the rugs really good.

I almost feel like I'm hunching over to vacuum which I feel could lead to earlier exhaustion. However, it is quite light and the added benefit of having the wand vac is awesome and makes this my new favorite vacuum in the house. It also looks quite nice in my living space.

Powerful suction picks up everything, everywhere- on carpets, bare floors, the car seats and furniture upholstery. Charged fully in less than 1 hour. Slim, cordless, easy to hold in your hand. Attachments easily click on. Glides across carpeting with ease. The best feature is the self-emptying mechanism. You can choose to mute the high-powered loud sound of it cleaning out what was just vacuumed up, but it's so much fun and so satisfying to hear it do that. Unbelievably, afterward, it looks like your vacuum is brand new inside! It gets so clean in a matter of seconds. The trusted Shark brand always delivers the best products! Great housekeeping tool! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everyone in my house loves this cordless self empty by Shark brand. It's so easy to set up and easy to use. It vacuums good and only needs to be emptied about once a month. It even looks really good sitting out in my dining room.

So, I have researched and read and watch videos and just could not decide if this vac was worth the money. Finally I just did it & I'm sharing my story, my opinion. I wanted a cordless vac after using the handy Tineco cordless mop/vac my son bought me for Christmas. So I bought an inexpensive little Tineco one at the WM. I am a total Shark fan. I've had my primary Shark vac for over 10 years and it's as completely strong and awesome as the day I bought it however, I thought having a little cordless vac as well would be handy. I'll say, that lil thing just did absolutely nothing for the very short 8-12 mins it ran (time depended on my boosting attempts). So I returned it and then debated the truth behind the cordless hype. I finally opted to try this little cordless primarily because it's a Shark and also because I love the self-emptying feature so I can clean up lil quickies without sneezing and the dusty mess of emptying. My fear was of course bad suction capability and unreasonable battery usefulness. Well fear not!!! First, the 3 little battery-life lights are great to keep you ahead of battery dying. Second, suction is great for doing what it's designed to do which is to vacuum the floors in a super handy way! I mean, that's the point, right? I will deep vacuum my entire house with my old corded buddy, daddy Shark Navigator, on the weekends and safely store it all week long because now I can just grab my new little baby Shark, the ws642ae. I am thrilled to say “welcome to my home little buddy”! 😂 It's like this, cordless vacs are not intended to be your primary floor care friend. I believe they are meant to be your lil sweeper-like floor cleaning friend and that's what you should expect. And they are perfectly suited to do that if you buy the right one, which this one is (& tons better than a broom!). This is NOT a full size, corded vac so please don't compare them. It's apple/orange. You cannot … cannot go wrong with Shark branded vacuums! If you are unsure I say just go for it! (Again, I am not paid or incentivized at all). FYI: I easily vacuumed the primary traffic areas of 6 rooms and the hallway, including low pile area rugs like at the entrance, the hallway runner and in the bathroom, (about 15-20 mins) and still had 1 battery light when I put her back in her crib (very satisfying to hear her self-empty too!) The only disappointment I have is that she's not lit at the floor. No LED. I mean it's a preference not a requirement for it function but just sayin I was surprised because it's such a basic inclusion these days. That being said, if the lack of the floor light extends the battery even a few additional minutes then good choice Shark! I'll take it. SO NUTSHELL…Suction is great, battery life is “cordless-great”, convenience extremely great! 🙌. Thank you Shark!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark Wandvac Self-Empty System has left me pleasantly surprised. I'm one of those people who makes a mess in the entire kitchen every time I cook, and I'm always dragging in dirt or grass from being on work sites or doing yard work. No one likes to sweep...am I right? Too much work for little results (dust line continues to stay just out of reach)... Tfhe Shark Wandvac provides numerous options - as an upright vac, hand vac, hand vac with brushroll, hand vac with tools or long wand with tools. My favorite is to use as an upright daily instead of sweeping to clean up my cooking/working mess on the floors, and then I use the hand vac with wand and duster crevice tool to get the floorboards and trim clean. This combo also works well for dusting the furnace vents or cleaning out the tight spots in my truck cab. The dust collection bin is very small, and I did overfill it and get it jammed up the first time I used the vac, so I had to clean it out by hand since it was too full for the auto-empty system. After that I know not to let the dust collection get too full and empty it in between cleaning if I need. The downside of having a corded self-empty tank is that the house doesn't have a lot of convenient places to store this, so for now it is taking up valuable kitchen space until I can figure something else out. It does take over 3 hours for a full charge, but I found that vacuuming the entire house didn't even run the vac charge down, so this should be no problem. The system comes with many stickers on it, pointing out features, and although they say "peel here" to remove them, I will keep them on as reminders for family members on how to use the system. I'm not saying it's difficult to understand, but the stickers are very helpful.

We had to return after less then a week due to motor Overspeed, grabbed another because we did like it but now The second one again a week in has same issue. Theirs a reason These are on sale. I wouldn't buy this or shark again which is Disappointing based on what I had heard about brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm impressed at how well thought out this vacuum is! I have 2 other stick vacs and this is my favorite overall. It's super easy to use as a stick vac, I was worried the different way to grip the handle compared to most might make it hard to hold it long but it was actually totally fine. It also turns really smoothly while rolling it on the ground (this is not the case with all stick vacs and actually makes a big difference). The top wand part detaches super-quick with buttons right by your hand and is pretty light. The roller part can also detach easily and swap out with other attachments. Now the big reasons to get this, yes the dirt empties on it's own and yes it is fun to watch! It's also very loud so they did make a mute button that will let you connect to charge it but not empty the dirt, good thinking. The suction is impressive for a stick vac...it's not a giant 'normal' vac so I won't expect or pretend to compare it there. If you have lots of carpet and only want 1 vacuum you should get a non-stic vac. However if you have lots of hardwood this is a great option, I'd recommend to have both and make this the normal one because it's so good and convenient, then bring out the big vacuum for getting deep in the carpets every now and then. It also didn't catch any hair in the roller which is great, I doubt it'll never happen but it certainly is less than normal. The only negative...it doesn't have LED headlights on the front of the vacuum. It's not a deal breaker but is surprising as that's pretty much a standard. Assuming you don't vacuum in dark rooms all the time this is probably ok haha. I love that this automatically charges, has a base so it doesn't tip over, and empties itself. All about convenience here (while still performing really well) and I highly recommend it!
