If you are using this as a daily kitchen crumb sweeper, this will suit you fine. However as a mom of 2, with 2 dogs who track in dirt, and 2 cats who are messy with their litter box.. not to mention dealing with the dirt and mess the kids make, the people and animal hair - do yourself a favor and just buy a bissel. This sweeper clogs up easily, and the dust cup probably holds maybe 3/4c water at best. Suction is not up to par for shark products, and its rather tricky to line it up on the charger/self emptying device. On smooth surfaces it glides nicely, but as soon as you hit any type of rug its bouncing and hopping. I use this primarily in my basement which is concrete floor with very thin, super low pile carpeting and it does not do well at all. Do not recommend at all.

I love how it's cordless so I can go room to room without having to unplug. The self cleaning feature is so near as well. I hate changing bags and filters so this having a self cleaning base eliminated that. I also used this in my car and it worked great! I think I have to get my mom one because she's a little too comfortable with mine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted a cordless vacuum that was easy to use. This Shark vacuum is absolutely perfect. It was easy to get set up. It also doesn't take up too much space with the charging base. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver around furniture. My child also loves using the vacuum because she's also able to use it and has fun with it. It makes for easy cleanup in the kitchen and under the dinner table. I love using it on our stairs and even on our couches! The battery really lasts, too. If the vacuum is full, it does shut off so it can empty into the base for simple emptying and then you can get back to vacuuming. It's also not super loud which I like. It's easy to bring it around to the other floors of my house. I love this vacuum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've recently had surgery and have been unable to maneuver our full size upright vacuum. So I jumped at the opportunity to try out this lightweight cordless stick vacuum. I chose it because it is cordless to use, so didn't require me to bend over to plug it in each use. It simply sits into the charging dock. My only complaint, and it's minor, I'd that the power button is right in the spot you need to hold when you sit it on the dock, so I keep accidentally turning it on when I dock it. Very minor thing, but kind of annoying. Another key feature for me is that I don't need to empty it every use due to the unique self emptying feature. My small stick vacuum needs emptied every use, which is annoying. When you dock the vacuum it automatically empties the small debris cup into the larger container in the dock. It takes 10 seconds to empty, and sounds just like the vacuum does when it runs. There is also a button you can push to disengage the auto emptying feature. Some features I wasn't aware of before receiving this vacuum is that instead of bristles on the brush roll there is silicone fins which make this vacuum so much more effective on cleaning hard floors. Again, this has been a lifesaver for me in my recovery since I can't bend over to use a dustpan. Another feature that delightfully surprised me is that you can remove the lower half to use it as a hand held vacuum. Plus it comes with 2 brushes that can attach to the end of the handvac for cleaning steps, upholstery, curtains. The fact that it is cordless makes it so easy to take outside to clean the car, or carry upstairs. Great details that add so much versatility. Yes, this is an investment, but with its ease of use, and many features I feel it is worth it. Even my husband, who couldn't care less about a tools design, commented on how well thought out it is.

I really like how lightweight it is and the idea of the self empty and charging station but this vacuum is junk! I've only had it for 7 months and it is just about useless. It's never had much for suction power and when using on a rug it will start making a different noise and then die after a minute or less. The self emptying was nice while it worked but that recently quit emptying it all the way. I've had other stick vacuums before and they worked way better than this one. Wish I never had bought it but now I feel stuck with it because I spent $200 on it and don't want to buy another already.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a lot of vacuums over they ears and this will be my third Shaek product... I must say that I think I am in love. I have a lot of animals in my home, we do animal rescue, so our floors get very dirty every single day despite cleaning them twice a day. We need something that can keep up with our needs and Shark products are the only ones that have ever been able to do that. This cordless lightweight option is amazing and I love that the larger canister is on the charging base and my canister on the wand itself is emptied every time it docks. This allows for the items to be as lightweight as it is and for us to be able to get more done efficiently without getting worn out.

I bought this a few months ago, so far so good, I have three dogs so a a lot of pet hair is cleaned up with this thing, the self cleaning has recently been not working, to we're I have to empty the little one by hand, I made sure nothing is stuck and basically took apart the whole vacuum. Sucks having to do that not even having it 6 months yet.

I have 4 dogs.3 Vacuums. This is by far the best vac ever. I don't have to deal with a cord which makes me absolutely insane trying to clean a house with the cord connected to me I have to run around switching outlets because the cord is too short. But this by far is unbelievable. I also enjoy that it empties itself out. I highly recommend this product. Love that first vacuum

This has a special self-emptying container that fixes this problem. It's nice! The vacuum is lightweight and is easy to maneuver too. I think this is an awesome vacuum to have.
