[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy the self sharpening feature. And it is just the right amount of knives for my use. Don't need the scissors but it seems like all knife sets come with that now. A serrated self-sharpener. But I have a manual sharpener for serrated knives.

It's great to have a knife set that will essentially sharpen itself and don't have to worry about trying to do that correctly. The woodblock is very beautiful and really heavy, no question in the quality. The knives are Full Tang and very sharp, and have good weight to the handles. Each knife is crafted beautifully and as with any new knife very sharp and easy to cut with. I

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Knives are never dull when I go to use one, the sharpening block really work to keep them sharp, if you use the block properly, oh yes there is a technique on how to pull the knives out of the block and placing them back in the block.

The most useful part of this gift is that it sharpens knifes just by storing them in the (beautiful) knife block. This looks so nice on our counter and matches perfectly with our kitchen. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knives are very sharp out of the box. I hope the ceramic sharpeners in the slots on the block really keep the knives sharp. I like the look of the block and the metal plate that protects the block from jabs and damage. The sheers are nice and sharp and sturdy.
