Truly enjoyed it out of the box. First time I went to use it was in a hurry. Just popped it out of the box, filled with water. Did not wait long, just steamed the shirt was amazed at how simple it was to figure out without instructions. Best part, unlike my last iron did not leave wet marks from drips. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 little kids so the most important features on a clothes iron are safety. Lots of irons have a shutoff if the iron falls over on it's side. But if an iron is still hot when it falls over then a 30 second timer won't save my kid. This iron solves that with an 8 minute standing sleep mode. I didn't realize until I read the instructions that if you leave it up for 8 minutes it turns off the heat. You can restart it by using it. But it's just so nice to know that if I forgot to turn it off it will turn itself off. I also really like the retractable cord because I can unplug and store the cord while it cools off. The last iron I had to leave the cord either hanging or wrapped up on the board because I usually store it with the cord wrapped around the iron and so I had to wait for it to cool off first. The water hole is a little small to try to pour into. But there's really no way around that if you want steam. And you do really need to wait for it to get all the way hot before using the steam. Overall I'm impressed with how it ironed my work shirts and I appreciate the auto shutoff.

It irons well. The color is so dark, makes it too difficult to see the water level. Extremely frustrating. Also the cord stops rewinding very soon. They should pay attention to details.

I received my Rowenta Iron last week. Tried it out on some quilting squares and love it. It has the water sprayer so as your spraying it steams and pressing at same time. Very nice iron and works really good.

It started leaking water on Garment after few months . Followed procedure for lime scale cleaning did not work. It is not even 1 year old . requested a refund

Have tried this product on several different items that I might iron. I am happy to say I got great results ironing my silk scarves as well as my pillow cases. My blouses ironed perfectly. I am so pleased with my iron!
