This gazebo is every bit as beautiful as the pictures. We love the charm and warmth of the cedar. The only downside was the company hired to erect the gazebo (recommended by Backyard Discovery) did not secure it to the patio. They cited 'liability' issues. We had to do it ourselves.

We got ours about 5 months ago and our whole backyard is transformed.! We have an outdoor kitchen under the gazebo and have been using it non-stop! The cypress is so pretty and all of the little details make it worth every penny. We love this gazebo and highly recommend it!

Nice precut unit they have it figured out very well, if you build it yourself pay a lot of attention to the instruction as they are written. When they show you those high lighted instruction in red don't blow them off it will hurt you at the final step. Customer service was very helpful had a few pieces that had warps and they sent new ones right away. We bought a 12x20 and it has a lot of parts and big panels so have at least 3 to 4 people it sure makes it easy. We give it a 4 star because they have no 4.5 can't give it a 5 some of the instruction can be a little bit of a head scratcher and the film on the trim is super hard to get off so start early on working it off. All in all very happy with Gazebo it will surely be enjoyed by the family, material is good quality and packaging was very professional.

It was a lot of work to assemble. Me and my wife did all of the assembly. We stained and sealed it. I hired some help to lift the roof up. I am 68 and my wife is 64. We took our time and got her done. I think if I were to do it again I would have it assembled.

We purchased our Cordova Gazebo almost a year ago and it truly has sustained our Colorado winds, our most recent winter heavy snow. Even our most recent heavy rains without any problems at all. It was absolutely one of our better purchases and wish we had purchased it sooner. My husband Rick, our son and our neighbor all helped with putting the roof on as it did need 3 people. The lower part of 4 posts and sides my husband pretty much did it himself with an extra ladder. He's very creative! So the roof was the part that did require the assistance of a few more hands. We enjoy using our new outdoor space for many outside events in our yard day or night. It looks beautiful. We did hang lights for sitting outside in our cool Colorado evenings. My husband and I enjoy just sitting under it in the morning drinking our coffee. My sister and her husband were so impressed with our Gazebo that they are ordering one for themselves. So we would highly recommend this purchase to anyone considering purchasing or having one built. It is a great price, quality is 5 star.

We absolutely LOVE this gazebo. We have a narrow backyard and very skinny space between our current slatted patio cover and the fence. I live in the So Cal desert and really wanted full shade over my patio furniture. Boxes arrived as expected. I received several text messages leading up to delivery. Yes, the boxes were dropped in the driveway, but I expected that based on the text messages. All boxes were in tact, no damage, but this is a bear to assemble, which is why I gave it 4 stars. My husband is super handy and build two sheds. He struggled with this item. He spent a couple hours each day after work on a section. On day 2, he told me to send it back because it was impossible. Of course, he figured it out. Saturday, was the final day and he needed the help of me and our two week daughter's to list the roof panels. I fear for our safety. We have to lift these roof panels, fully assembled, above your head to set in place. You will need a couple tall ladders. Luckily, all went well and now I have perfect shade over my couch. It really does drop 10-20° under the gazebo. It was worth a week of pain and struggle to assemble.

I bought the Gazebo Cardoba a few days ago and had it professionally installed just yesterday it looks great in my backyard it's on a concrete slab what I would really love to know is if I can get mosquito netting and if so where also my 2nd question is I saw where you said you need to put ceiling on the wood what type of ceiling do you recommend Thank you for your prompt response

I just picked this up this morning with my F150 pick-up truck. Me and my wife got it home and decided to open each box, unpack them and inspect the pieces. Others here have left reviews about damaged items but we did not have that problem. Every piece was present and in perfect condition. All the hardware was present as well. There was a couple of warped boards but they will easily straighten up once assembled. We have decided to brush clear sealer on all of the boards prior to assembly so it stays nicer longer. I have not assembled it yet but do not anticipate any issues other than putting in a long day. People also complained about the 4 uprights being hollow(which they are) but they are monsters and I'm quite glad they're hollow as this will make running the electrical quite easy as I will run the wire up the center of one of the uprights to keep everything hidden. For the $1,799.00 spent, this is quite an awesome/high quality gazebo that I would highly recommend. One last thing, as for anchoring to the ground, I plan to pour four concrete footings and use concrete anchors at the four corners. This thing weighs 780LBS and I can't see it flying away but at $1800 and all the time it will take to install and wire, I'm not going to take a chance.

We were excited to install this gazebo and optimistic of the promised two man, 10 hours assembly time. That was a very unrealistic timeline to assemble. It took us all day Saturday, Sunday and every day after work for almost a week to complete which included running electricity for several outlets, lights and a ceiling fan. This included the help of two neighbors to lift the roof pieces into place. I recommend when you open the boxes, put all like lettered pieces together. It will make it easier to locate later. The same is true for grouping the bags of bolts and screws numerically. We are building a bar underneath and a wall around our pool equipment and grills but it's the perfect gazebo to provide shade this summer.

The quality is just as nice s the pergola (even better with the thicker corner posts). The instructions we simple to follow and my husband and I assembled this together without any difficulties or confusion. The company kept us informed regarding the shipping logistics when we had questions about the delivery. The shipment arrived undamaged and complete. This gazebo is a game changer for our backyard and provides much needed relief from the Gulf Coast sun!
