We installed this towards the end of the season so we did not hook up the electric or the lights we purchased. There wasn't a lot of opportunity to use the gazebo before the weather turned cold but we were very pleased with the brief time we did get to use it. We had it installed by a local service and there is a small leak coming through the roof which is probably more of an installation issue than a product issue. Hopefully it's an easy fix. We are looking forward to enjoying the shade it will provide on our deck. It looks great and is very attractive.

After a lot of research, reading thru reviews, watching videos, decided to buy the Barrington 12x12 gazebo. Best decision ever! It's a beautiful addition to my backyard. Here in the Arizona heat needed more shade. Took two half days and 5 people (family, friends, and neighbors. Highly recommend you set up day before the build. I set up the parts according to numerical part number, stacked and taped part number to identify each stack. This helped keep things in order, no bending over to look for number on wood. I put hardware and small metal pieces and wood on the tables, also in numerical part number order. No looking for parts and also helped make sure we used all the parts and weren't missing anything. It went super smooth, caught a couple mistakes quickly so easy to get it right. Directions and the Bilt app helped with the diagrams of how parts were supposed to fit. Extremely happy with the build and the finished gazebo. Looks great, excellent quality. Highly recommend!

This is the second product we have bought from them. my only complaint is that the app instructions will have instructions that the paper one doesn't. For example, when anchoring the gazbeo, the app tells you how big a hole you need to drill, but the paper ones do not.

I bought this 16x12 Barrington for its style and guarantees with the wind and weight load. Most gazebos, I noticed my research, are only rated for half the wind and weight load of this one. It came palletized in six boxes. You need a large area to spread everything out to make sense of the parts. There were two pieces of wood that were damaged in the box, but the company immediately replaced same within a couple days without a problem. I did need two other people to attach the legs to the framework and again to install the roof panels. The 16-ft roof panels were a challenge to install because of their weight and awkwardness of its size. I did need a little help with the rubber mallet and wood clamps for this step. I did find it weird that you install the drip edge over the roof and not under. The rain does go down under the drip edge, over the cedar fascia, and onto the deck. I don't know how long this wood will last before rotting. They should figure out a different way to finish the roof with the water being diverted in a different way. Also, when I had the paver patio installed I gave the contractor the measurements to wear each post was going to be located. He then poured a concrete footing under the pavers and those pavers are also embedded in the concrete. I used 5-in concrete anchor screws to lock down the posts.

We got delivery in October and enjoyed it from the first day it was completed. My son, son-in-law, and a friend put it together. The parts are well marked making the build much easier than expected. Cedar is good quality making the Back Yard Discovery Gazebo a beautiful addition to our property. The only drawback is winter! 🥶 Can't wait until spring so we can get back to enjoying our Back Yard Discovery Gazebo!

Bought the gazebo last spring and enjoyed it all summer. Fast forward to spring 2025 and a EF2s tornado came through. Uprooted all our large oak and hickory trees but our gazebo stood tall and strong. Not a scratch. I can't reccommend this product enough.

I bought this as a 50th Anniversary present to us. It was a Very Rough Year for my husband and I. I was diagnosed with breast cancer end of August and before I could plan my recovery, my husband and I got Covid and the day after Thanksgiving he had a stroke. There went my Caregiver! After 12rounds of Chemo and 20 rounds of radiation and 17 infusions which ended exactly one year our children put this beautiful Gazebo together for us before we headed down to Florida for the winter. We haven't had a chance to enjoy it yet but hope to do so starting this Spring. The kids had a few issues on the metal top but it all worked out.

It took my wife and I 5 weeks to assemble, but we worked on it a leisurely pace. It's a good bit of work to put together but it came out really nice. Power tools are HIGHLY recommended, and you have to use your common sense as the instructions are a little fuzzy in certain steps. But overall a good experience and the end product is great/

I bought this a couple months ago and it took about 2 days to build and 3 people at times and wasn't too difficult. Love the power feature so we can add lights around it soon. It completes the back yard perfectly and provides shade at a reasonable price since patio covers are so high. Materials seem nice and sturdy and look quality.

Bought this Gazebo for an apartment complex and it has been nothing but problems. While assembling there was missing parts, and parts that didn't have the correct pilot holes. The roof does not line up once it has all fully assembled. There was extra hours to just correct it. If you buy this, buy it pre assembled. It is not worth your time and or extra effort.
