I have a pair of these on my 99 ram 2500 (24v cummins) i do over the road transport hauling a enclosed car trailer, I rack up lots of miles and often go from new england through the mid west, sometimes to california and back, so i cover lots of terain, and tempatures, the tires have NEVER failed me, the ware evenly, grip well, ride smothly even under the stress of a load, and when the trucks empty they handle high speeds well ( the truck has some mods on it invcluding a smarty tuner) I will definatly buy another pair of these tires when they warout, i read some other peoples reviwes on this tire, it's a shame some have had dryrot problems, I have some very minor dryrot on my side walls, but not enough to compromise the tire, I find that using armorall on them frequently seems to help as it has rubber conditioners, though i don't these other peoples individual stories, I suppose it could be location, or lack of use, but in any case, I can only speak to my experience which has been great 5 stars from me!

I purchased this set of Michelin's to replace the original factory tires on my FJ Cruiser which wore out at 25000 miles. I have over 45000 miles on the vehicle now and the Michelin;s still look like new. These tires are great on the highway and perform very well in the ice and snow hear in Colorado.

We had these on our Chevy Trailblazer, because I had previously had this series on another vehicle, and was very pleased with the traction in snow. Again, these never disappointed me and better yet, we got 80,000 miles out of them, and they wore evenly all the way across the tread, and remained very effective until they simply had no tread left. Best set of tires I have ever had.

Needed new tires for my 2018 Honda CR-V and wanted to improve the ride quality. These tires nailed it! Much improved in both the ride handling, smoothness, and lower road noise inside the vehicle. Also simply feels more sure-footed in the rain. Looking forward to seeing a difference in winter snow.

Chevrolet put these on when two sets of the tires that came on the vehicle when new failed at 7000 miles. Have had them on now for nearly 97,000 miles just ordered another set for my Chevrolet High Country Silverado. Ride is superior to any make of tire I've had, durability is unsurpassed as you can see by the milage and handeling is great, especially on wet roads, don't know if you can get them to hydroplane in wet conditions. They lack a little in snow and ice but preform well if you just slow down like you should do anyway! Had only 1 flat in all the miles driven. Great security for my wife and I! I bought these tires (LT265/75R16) several years ago for my Nissan Frontier after the factory originals wore out after about 40K miles. I currently have almost 100K miles on these and they are just now telling me that I need to think about replacing them. I am planning on keeping my truck (only 140K miles on it) so I am looking for the same model tire.

I happy with Brand Michelin Defender LTX m/s tires so far that is for Spring to Fall season only and I use other tires like Motomaster tires for winter season and work well for me to driving it I will keep eye on tires and how driving condtion goes and so far is good and its very new Michelin defender LTX M/S (4) tires last Spring 2019 and this going to be 2nd use next year 2020 so I let everyone know its all good overall rating be 4 and if next year 2020 season is still good I will then rating star 5

Bought these about a week ago. They replaced my OEM Michelin cross terrian which are no longer made. These LTX tires are awesome nice quiet ride. Super smooth, ust an amazing difference. Absolutely love them so far. Already have been in rain and snow and handled great. Great Purchase!!!

I recently bought a set of Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires to replace a set of Michelin Latitude tires that came on my Grand Cherokee. The ride is much rougher with the Defender tires than the Latitude tires. The road noise is also higher with the Defender tires. I am disappointed with the Defender tires.

I have had 5+ sets of these on 2 different suburbans, 1) f150 std cab longbox, 1) Chevrolet dually cab-chassis with dump and snow-plow, and now on my '14 Superduty Kingranch. If my continued patronage of this specific tire doesn't speak volumes, I don't know what..I am in Wisconsin, and snow and ice traction are important. These tires are excellent in snow and ice, without quick wear like a winter tire 80k/set. Ride comfort is outstanding. I replaced the Michelin AT tires with these on the superduty, and they are 10 times better for traction and comfort. If you are wondering if these tires are worth the extra money, they absolutely are!
