Fresh nectarine and staying fresh after more than a week

These were so sweet and juicy so glad I made the purchase but sad that we ate them so fast!

These are awful. I'm not sure why Sam's doesn't know what's going on. It's easy to find out that it's an internal breakdown from when the nectarines are stored at too low a temperature for too long. The outside looks fine, but the inside becomes brown and mushy. Some call it a chilling injury. Until Sam's changes the way they are storing these fruits, no sense in buying them.
