economical with a nice look

If you are looking for an economical way to cool your drinks and have an upgraded look, this is a solid choice. Pros: - Price, price, price - A good size if space is at a premium. Smaller footprint compared to similar units - The wire shelves allow for good air circulation - Clean lines give a nice look - Runs quietly - Shelves have a lot of adjustment options (I wound up removing 2 shelves and the retainer at the bottom) Cons: - No child lock - Door handle is inset on the side of the door. If you are placing this unit in a closed space (under a counter between cabinets) it may not allow space to use the handle. There should be a few inches above the unit and below the counter allowing room to open from the top. - There is a white LED light in the top of the unit, but it is either on or off. There is no setting to make it operate with the door. - The wire shelves allow for good circulation but are not as sleek as units with glass shelves. - The wire barrier at the bottom is static and may not leave a lot of room to access items under the first shelf. I removed mine. - The unit appears to have holes which would allow you to reverse the door hinge to the left side. Unfortunately the handle would now be on the bottom side of the door and the logo would be upside down. Bottom Line: If you need a nice looking refrigerator that keeps your drinks cold but won't break the bank, then this unit is right for you. -If you need more capacity with all of the bells and whistles, then you should keep looking.

Inaccurate Description

This is the second beverage center I purchased from Sams that has wrong information in the website description. The Sams website say the temperature cools to 34 degrees. However the owners manual states it only goes down to 37 degrees. The first fridge I purchased was the Frigidaire EFMIS155 and it only went down to 40 so I returned it. But that one was quieter and has a sleek looking blue LED light and a digital thermostat. This NewAir AB-1200 has a white LED light and a dial thermometer. So basically you have to choose between which one looks better and is quieter(Frigidaire) or which one is colder (NewAir)

Product dimensions incorrect on the website

We had to give dimensions from this website to our cabinet maker because he is on a tight schedule and we had not received our bar fridge yet. When they tried to install it we realized the width and depth measurements are reversed on this page and it will not fit in our custom cabinets. I should have bought the fridge earlier and taken it out of the box and measured it instead of trusting the description.

Great except for missing feet!

This seems to be a good mini fridge so far. It is very attractive looking and keeps beverages cold. It's 4 to 5 degrees cooler at the bottom than that the top, but that doesn't bother me. It arrived early and it great condition, except it was missing 3 out of the 4 adjustable feet. It is annoying because not only did I have to spend the time reaching out to the company, but also have to show proof of purchase documentation etc. Now, when the feet arrive, I will have to empty fridge, turn it over and fix it. How does that pass quality control?

I am very happy with this cooler!

I have had this cooler plugged in for 2 weeks now. I bought a new refrigerator thermometer so I could make sure it would always be cold enough. I have soda cans in the top and my husband has beer on the next shelf. Below that I laid 5-16.9 ounce bottles of diet coke and when I opened them, they had ice in them. It was set on the highest setting of 7 and was 34 degrees, so I turned it down to 5. I have my grandchildren's juice boxes in the bottom. It does not need defrosting, just occasional cleaning with warm water and soap with the unit turned off. I would strongly suggest reading the brief owner's manual before plugging it in the first time so the compressor is not compromised. I am having a carpenter build a cabinet, wine rack, etc cabinet for it and there are instructions on allowances for that also.
