NewAir 126-Can Stainless Steel Beverage Cooler

We purchased the Ab-1200 about a year ago and love it. It's hard to believe that it can hold so many cans! It looks great too.

I use this product and for the most part it works great, it have a life all it's own makes noise a lot of times but everyone love our unit.

We just got ours and the hinge cover is smashed and it is missing the feet....no feet = wobble and loud compressor

Extremely Pleased

This is the second one of these coolers we tried and it's marginally better than the first, which we thought was defective.   We bought this to provide more space for beer and wine than is available in our new kitchen refrigerator.  The kitchen unit gets the beverages as cool as we like (37 degrees) but lacks can/bottle space.  The New Air unit, cranked all the way up to the coldest setting does not cool nearly as well, only 43 degrees (WITH THE UNIT EMPTY) - and runs constantly, and is very noisy in the process.  For anyone planning to use thus unit in an outside location - i.e. garage, un-air conditioned spaces - beware because you will probably be disappointed too.  We put ours in our semi-air conditioned Florida room - semi because it's not ducted but we leave the door open to allow a/c to feed in and are able to keep it comfortable that way.  Temperature stays around 81 degrees during the day in summer.  I called New Air and was informed that the unit will only perform well at at temps 75 and below.  The owner's manual does not give an ambient temperature  spec, only a caution to keep it out of direct sunlight.  The bottom line - I now have two of these things sitting in my Florida room.  Since I discarded the packing from the first unit, we'll be using the packing from the replacement (which seems to perform a bit better than the first) to return the first.  We'll go ahead and keep the second - no choice - and use it to pre-cool our beer and wine and then replenish the kitchen fridge when needed.

Not Much Of A Beer Cooler

I needed a cooler or fridge for a bar cabinet won at auction. This was the ONLY item that would fit the space I needed with less than 1/4" on the height to spare. While the width shown is correct, the height is a bit tricky even after confirming with the manufacturer. While the height dimension includes the hinge, it does not include the feet. I had to use a tool to enlarge the top of the cabinet hole to accommodate the feet. With that said, it fit perfectly in the space. Since this is not designed for an enclosed space, I installed three 8x16 vents in the back and three 8x16 vents on one side for any heat buildup to escape. The inside space was open already. I haven't checked to see if it actually holds 126 cans, but I have it filled with everything I need. Noise? Yes there is "noise", but it is very faint and 
and you have to be near it to hear it. The inside light is a good finishing touch. We did not have to switch the door, and if you do, the nameplate will be upside down. I think it can be removed, but not sure.
