I am taking the advantage of using this survey about a fruit although the review is not specific this time for blackberries. I buy fruits every week, lots of them from Sam’s and the quality has been really bad. Mangoes, watermelons, kiwis I have bought quite a few and they come bad. Blackberries and raspberries used to come bad too but lately have been good. So I decided to not buy fruits from Sam’s for a while, except for mandarines which have been really good.

Last 3 times we bought the Driscoll's Blackberries from Sam's, they look fine from the top at the store but when you get home and see the middle layer to the bottom they are moldy and rotten! I mean I can't save them to return back to Sam's otherwise I'd have a science experiment going on! So they go straight in the trash. What a waste of money! I mean I don't know if it's how Sam's is handling the product or if it's coming like that straight from Driscoll's but this is so disgusting and disappointing! I would've added a pic but it won't let me (I've tried several times to resize the image but it's still saying error) but I'm sure you get the idea. I'm done...not buying anymore of these from Sam's!

Picked up two containers of the blackberries yesterday. Usually they are pretty good, but the ones I got yesterday were a mess. The first container had a mass of mold in the middle of it. I thought that one bad container of blackberries was just a fluke. I threw those away and opened the second container. These berries were mushy and probably on the verge of rotting. I don’t think I will ever buy these again.

These berries are really hit or miss as to how long you have to consume them. I have purchased four containers of them in the last three months; two spoiled before I could eat any of them and the others were delicious. The length of time it took for them to start getting moldy was surprisingly short. The last ones I purchased on the afternoon of May 20 and when I pulled them from the refrigerator last evening (May 22) they were already spoiled. The shipping time must be horribly long. It is so disappointing.
