Just received yesterday. The delivery person dropped over our gate onto the sidewalk. When I found it, it was laying with the bottom up and open. When I opened it they was not instructions for using the popper. There was a booklet for making popcorn balls. I made a batch and about 1/4 cup of un-popped corn was in the bottom. I had to put it back into the popper to finish popping. Needless to say it didn't taste as good. Otherwise it worked okay with very little oil.

Loved this popcorn maker from the first time I used it. Unfortunately after about 30 uses the bowl has a large crack in it. Also the switch is broken so unit continues to stay on. But it still works like a champ. I'm just extra careful not to be too hard on the bowl so it doesn't Crack all the way through where it is unusable. Really wish it had a glass bowl and cord storage and I would never need another one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy this popcorn machine. Not only is it easy to use, the cleanup is quick and easy as well. The machine comes with a recipe book of different gourmet popcorn. I love the "Beat Popcorn" recipe as it truly does make the best popcorn ever! You literally pour kernels on the black pan and drizzle them is the appropriate amount of oil, cover the kernels with the dome and turn it on. You can melt butter by placing pads on top of the dome. The butter will melt slowly into the popcorn. The total time from start to finish is 5 mins 30 seconds, but it's so worth the wait. This machine makes GREAT popcorn. I will not eat microwave popcorn anymore. This machine will make up to 6 qt of popcorn at a time. The only downfall is you must wait 10 to 15 minutes between poppings. Three words: BUY THIS MACHINE! You won't be dissapoonted.

We have always used a hand crank stovetop popcorn maker to get movie popcorn and would have to do it twice to use all popcorn, salt and butter oil in package. So we thought we would give this popcorn maker a try since it says it makes 6 quarts and that is what the popcorn package makes. To my surprise this popcorn maker works great, I didn't have to stand there cranking the handle then transfer the cooked popcorn to a bowl and do it again. Now I just turn it on, empty the popcorn pack into the Dash popcorn maker and in less than ten minutes I have a full 6 quart bowl full of popcorn. I would recommend this product to anyone that likes movie theater popcorn.

I just tried the Smart store Popcorn Popper. I read a lot of reviews, some good and some bad. A few suggested using more oil than the recipe book calls for. So I added about 4-5 tbsp. 1/3 cup popcorn. It took almost 4 mins to begin popping, but once it started, it went crazy! Popped the bowl full. Decided not to use the top for butter. Melted that in a pan on the stove. Delicious tender popcorn! Only 2 unpopoed kernels. 😊Highly recommend this popper. 👍

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so cute and easy to use. I have two kids and we love having movie nights and this is such a great way to make popcorn. We don't have an issue with microwave popcorn but for me, this seems like a healthier way to have a snack. Plus the kids are able to use this with no problem. I like how it's easy to clean and easy to store. There's a convenient measuring tool and it's super easy to make.

This made awesome popcorn, but we only were able to use it once. We read the directions for cleaning and it say “remove the stirring bar from the base by unscrewing the rotary knob.” We unscrewed it and the bar came off but the knob never full came off and now the bar won’t go back on. We are very bummed, and it was a Christmas gift- so we can’t really do anything about it.

Little on the messy side when cleaning but overall pretty nice. Popcorn has become a normal thing to make around my house now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this machine!! My fiance and I love making fresh popcorn and this gadget is fantastic! We usually do the stovetop method, but that requires constant tending. This machine has a little arm that sweeps the kernels across the hot plate so they don't burn and you don't have to worry about constantly agitating it. The measuring cup that comes with it is great for helping you figure out how many kernels you will need and the machine itself is very efficient--we had almost no unpopped kernels when we shut the machine off! I also love how the topper acts as a butter melting platform AND as a bowl. I'm always excited to have one less thing to clean up at the end of the night. Plus the bowl fits around the bottom of the cooking unit for easier storage too. Really love this machine!

I love the popcorn maker! I don't own a microwave but craved popcorn often. I tried to make popcorn on the stove but it was too messy for me. I ordered this popcorn maker and it's so simple to use and works so good! I've been using it at least twice a week. I still live with my parents so I'll be leaving the popcorn maker to them. I'm hoping there will be a pink version soon! I'm a woman btw but my boyfriend allows me to use his card for purchases :)
