It pops really well and I like the looks of it but it has a funny taste to it. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. My daughter agrees it taste weird. We have an air popper and a microwave popper that taste normal way better. I am trying to sell this on Facebook because I already threw the box away otherwise I’d take it back to Kohl’s where I got it.

The only thing I didn't like is that the box was not sealed. e.g. The product box wasn't inside a shipping box. I inspected the popcorn machine. It looked new. Easy to follow directions especially for first time. Smart design. Makes great popcorn. Does not shut off automatically but it's far easier than standing at the stove shaking a pot. Using the largest load of popcorn, the stirring popcorn maker pops amble popcorn for two people watching their carbs like we are.

I love the popcorn made with this item! Easy to use, easy to clean. My only complaint is that I feel the measuring cup and bowl/cover are pretty flimsy. The measuring cup came with a small crack, which has now turned into a small chip. I've only used it twice. Hopefully, the chip won't get larger. My husband is a picky popcorn fan, and he really likes the popcorn made.

Makes great popcorn! Easy to use, very few unpopped kernels. I love the storage lidI haven’t had a popcorn maker for over 40 years...brings back good childhood memories. Of note I used Nutiva butter flavored organic coconut oil and with light salt it’s delicious

It always ends up spilling over and I can never tell when it’s done. But with this gadget I was able to quickly and easily make the popcorn without burning it or not cooking it long enough. It comes with a convenient measuring tool so you know exactly how much kernels to put in and the top dome part doubles as the bowl for the finished popcorn. The directions made it easy to use and the popcorn tasted great. It is a bit bulky to clean and store away though but other than that it’s a great product.

And the best part is its without the harmful microwaves. It looks beautiful on the counter. It takes some time to heat up and once it starts popping its very quick. You can enjoy healthier popcorn with less oil in this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This popcorn maker is just great. My 6 year old had never seen popcorn pop like this, always in a bag you stick in the microwave. The first time it popped she jumped so high! She can't get enough of watching it so I make popcorn almost daily now. It is very simple to use and comes with a booklet for instructions and different types of popcorn you can make. It comes with a detachable lid that has a measuring tool built in. You put the amount of kernels you want on the metal tray, put the amount oil per kernels and turn it on (without the lid on). You do have to wait there and be ready to turn it off before it burns your popcorn. The process takes about 4 minutes or so. Once finished you put the lid on and turn it over and the plastic dome acts like a lid. You can put butter on top of it but I prefer not to. Better for my kid's and my health. I just add a little salt and enjoy!

This popcorn maker is nice. I purchased because of the all in one feature; the top becomes the bowl, however the lid wasn’t a snug fit and it fell off and dropped residual butter on the floor. Besides that, I like the way the kernels popped and the fluffiness of the kernels.

Since I was a kid we've called this kind of popcorn maker an R2D2 because of its dome top and like my older version (that had popped more popcorn than my family cares to admit), this one is just as effective in popping nearly every kernel - only 1 unpopped kernel in each of the 4 batches I've made since buying it! I have zero complaints and zero regrets with my purchase and would highly recommend to anyone who has a regular weekend full of movie watching (wherein you want to pop popcorn for multiple movies at once to be eaten over the course of a few evenings), this is your machine. Easy to clean and nice to store given that the base fits in the top (though to be fair, still not as compact as an upright popper, but that's to be expected.) The retro color is a plus since it matches many of my other small appliances, but I am not one to sacrifice function for fashion so the fact that you get both in this little machine is a bonus.

Once they hear that first kernel pop, the come running into the kitchen to watch. This is a great healthy alternative to traditional microwave popcorn. It's easy use and easy to clean as well. Only con is that it is kind of bulky and takes up some space in the kitchen. Highly recommend!
