Smells amazing and tastes fresh. I like the package with the lid to seal in the freshness, and it’s also an affordable brand. My whole family loves Folgers.

Folger’s has the nice easy open plastic canister that’s also easy to snap the lid back on. I use 2 tablespoons of coffee for my coffee maker to brew a half pot of coffee, for our morning cups this is the perfect amount. Price wise, Folger’s is pretty comparable to other coffees. I prefer a nice pot of coffee over making either K cups or by the cup in my coffee makers. Classic roast is a nice smooth tasting medium brew, which we prefer it definitely is the best part of waking up some days.

Their recipe has changed. It has a strong burnt wood ash like flavor. have been drinking Folger's classic blend for 20+ years, but this winter the recipe changed and it tasted awful. Thought perhaps it was a one off container or batch, so purchased another container at a different store, and it too had this terrible taste. Personally, it tastes like they're adding a wood pulp to off set the weight and cost of beans to keep the price low. It's understandable, but it negated my brand loyalty and will no longer purchase this. Have gone to grinding beans, much better. If you have the same experience, it would be nice to read.
