When first opened the smell was horrible. Nothing like my previous containers with the fresh aroma when opened each and every time and while brewing. Not sure what happened, but not good and It's not expired. The office is not happy right now =(

I have been a faithful Folgers coffee drinker for decades. It's the only coffee we have purchased since 1985. With that being said, I have noticed that it's not the same Folgers for the last few Cans. I am wondering if you have changed the formula on your Classic Roast. I now have a cup or 2 in the morning where before I would have 4 or 5 cups and also make a pot of coffee 3 to 4 times daily. Not loving it anymore

Iv drank Folgers since I was a kid Iv noticed the past year or so the taste just isn’t there it’s got some kind of stale taste to me and I just can’t get the measurements right anymore I thought it was the way I was making it but after reading some of these I would have to totally agree something has changed for the worst in the taste it’s not the best part of waking up anymore

I’ve bought or had many of the fancy coffees, but I’ve been trying more traditional American coffees and this is by far my favorite. The first cup of coffee I had was Folgers Decaf crystals (I was 9 or 10 so about a decade ago) and the first can of coffee I had bought Folgers when I was a teen and I’m glad i picked up a can of Classic last week because the flavor, taste, and aroma is probably unbeatable. Thank you Folgers for making fantastic coffee that makes me want to get outta bed!! It’s truly the best part of waking up!!

Sadly I agree, the rate of this batch of Folgers Classic i bought for Thanksgiving tastes completely different. And by different, it's....off. it could be a singular incident but it shakes my consumer confidence and opens me up to the possibility of changing brands. It's just that bad. Folgers, you may be saying nothing changed, but i trust my gut and my tongue. Especially when others are telling me I'm not wrong. You need crisis comms on this. Interesting study in whether branding or packaging is completely or partially responsible for consumer perception.

i am over 50 and have been drinking this for most of my life. the only problem i have is when the packages went from steel cans to plastic the coffee seemed to become a little bitter and i cant store my bacon fat in plastic. but it is still the best out there.

I have been drinking Folgers original roast every morning for the last two decades. I love the smell of it brewing first thung in the morning. Oh and then that first fresh sip is always amazing. Another thing i like is i can have a pot on for 4 or 5 hours and it holds its flavor, doesn't taste burnt and doesn't get so strong that you can't enjoy it. That is my review have a nice day. For me I'm gonna go brew a pot now cause all this talking about Folgers has me craving a big mug now.

We have never had a problem with Folgers before, but with this new can... My son said his cupl of coffee tasted really awful.. I didn't try it that day.. The next day I did have a cup and it was not good. When even my husband commented on the bad taste we stopped using it and got another can. We haven't tried it yet, but trust it is fine. I HOPE! Has anyone else complained about it, or is it just this one can...and why would that be?

For thirty years, I drank a competitor brand of coffee at home and smoked cigarettes. Those days are gone since neither product suffices anymore. For the last five years, I've been drinking Folgers Classic Roast at home. It is a comfortable cup of coffee (smiling). One happy person here.

I've been buying Classic Roast since Country Roast was discontinued. Although I did like the Country Roast better, the Classic Roast works for me but it tastes better when I brew it on the "strong" setting. It just seems too weak when I brew it on regular strength. I could add an extra scoop but I try to make it last longer.
